A poem about a very windy day. The birds aren't at the feeders, the trees are bowing almost to the ground.

A Blustery Wind is Blowing

A blustery day is blowing,
I'm glad I'm not outside.
I think I'll turn the heater up,
And here I will abide.

The trees are bowing lowly,
The clouds are moving fast.
The bushes start to shiver,
I hope this doesn't last.

The birds aren't at the feeders,
I hope they're in their nest.
And keeping warm and cozy,
Or at least trying their best.

The horses in the meadow,
Are staying by the hay.
I wish they had a blanket.
They do need one today.

This day is very cloudy,
I look outside and say.
Will spring time please come quickly.
I can not wait for May.
