In these cold and frosty days I am sure that we all have memories of the brighter days of summer and of the warmth that cheers our hearts...
A Frosty Morning
The sun is shining, not a breeze in the air,
There is calm and serenity for us both to share.
On a day such as this... a clear winter's morn,
The frost glistens brightly since early dawn.
Thinking of a day, when the sun shone bright,
We walked by the sea in the evening light.
Your hair it glistened in the twilight mist,
I held your hand and together we kissed.
Still together, we are, after many a year,
Can you feel my love, as I wipe my tear.
Standing by your side, now so late is the hour,
I stoop by your grave.... and leave you a flower.
