A Ghazal(Urdu) presented in a Tarahi Mushaira...

It's an Urdu poem, this type of poem is known as 'Ghazal' in Urdu literature...

- Hummm...
Tarahi Mushaira...
We had a poetic session here in Qatar at Adabi Khaima (literary camp/Tent). The session was organized by Bazm-e-Urdu Qatar. It was a 'Tarahi Mushaira'.
A tarahi mushaira is based upon a half of the verse of any well known poet given by the organizers...and all the participants have to write their poems on the same style of that particular verse...
Misra-e-Tarah...
The Misra-e- Tarah was
‘Hawaey Tund ko shayed kabhi khabar bhi na ho’
I had also submitted my 'Ghazal' there,
The Ghazal which I presented there...
Ghazal
Chiraagh kis ka bujha, kis ka aashiyaan ujra
Hawaey tund ko shayed kabhi khabar bhi na ho
Sh'er No.2
Ameer-e-shehr ney ye hukm hey kiya jari
Qafas ho aor hawa ka koi guzar bhi na ho
Sh'er No.3
Yeh zulm daikh key insaan ka dil laraz utthey
Zameer-e-murda agar ho to kuch asar bhi na ho
Sh'er No.4
Qaza-o-Qadr key hum hain dosto qail
Magar ye kiya key watan main koi Qabr bhi na ho
Sh'er No.5
Yeh aarzoo hey ghazal daikh kar sahar ki kiran
Na ho woh shaam key jis ki koi sahar bhi na ho
Hummm...
The Ghazal was recited by another poet in my absence, as it was all male gathering :) and it was much appreciated
(I heard so ;))

Ghazala, Amazing:
Qaza-o-Qadr key hum hain dosto qail
Magar ye kiya key watan main koi Qabr bhi na ho.
I don't know if I would head back to Pakistan in a few years. I am missing it very much and this She'r got me !

ghazala,
I don't know urdu.I know hindi.It would have been nice if there was a translation in english.most of the urdu gazals i read have the english translations in them.Keep writing,and thank you.
