A Poet Revived

An author hopes for feedback, hopefully not derision
And work completed and so humbly placed for publication
Should receive respect and if there is any altercation
Acknowledge, and accept with grace, all positive correction.
When comments made with slanderous and destructive implication
The author should be identified and banned without hesitation..
P0sitive Interaction.
We are here to respect each other and not make an unkind comment
Nor to put anyone down and allow a grievance to ferment
Of course we can question and accept with grace a criticism
And consider that it could be intended as a clever witticism.
Accusations can knock down a poet accused of plagerism
But we must restore our balance and contain our frustation
But comments are made sometimes which could put us in disgrace
Our denial and hurt must be said, revealing our truth with grace.
Fly by Night
Of course we must accept that a 'fly by night" comes by
And dazzles us with his knowlege and wonderful perfection
In writing poetry or prose he is certainly impressive
But after awhile, suspicions aroused, we have to ask the question
A bump or two in the road, does not deter honesty and desire
To work among the finest writers with absolute trust and love
My place right here I hope to keep and when I go through strife
I know that you will be there to help me through my earthly life.

Thank you, David. I appreciate your comment and for saying that my lines are compelling. They really needed to be! I deleted extremely hurtful remarks directed at another author as I was the very next one on the page, and then Loverme commented on my page that she had "read my poem somewhere elso". Then the text under the titles of my pages became scrambled, I was unable to respond to any messages and somehow I think this is all tied in together. I wrote "farewell" letter to some Wikkinutters. There is a funny side to it, I guess, as long as this is not repeated by the same writers.

Anisha. I find your comments unacceptable. They have no place on my page. I have the choice of deleting them but it might be as well if other writers became aware of your crude and offensive language. I have no need to hear remarks about your personal conflicts.

Just thought I would tell you, it would be a good idea to take your comment off as with this one, the above makes it look as it you are hallucinating with the name Anisha....

Hi Ivyevelyn, I hope everything is fine.
I am very emotional when it comes to my writing. Although I know that once published it is no longer mine to protect but to watch and hope that I have crafted it well enough to stand the test of criticism and derision.
I have left writing websites for the same reason.
I really hope everything is well.

Thanks for your comment, Andre. I came through the attack slightly bedraggled and $69 short, which I paid to Norton Security for nothing. I am well covered by them so I don't really know how all this happened. After Norton had checked, it happened again. Love, Ivyevelyn.

I am so glad that you can now access your account Ivy, as I know that you were very concerned when problems occurred, and glad that I could be there to support you as so many of your friends were. It's so good to see you back again, and yes, I agree whole heartedly with your poem and the message within... I have seen too much of this just recently on Wikinut, and it disappoints me greatly..

Ivy, how come I didn't know about your close shave with those people who have hurt you? I'll be taking a look as soon as I've finished typing here. Wonderful poetry, my friend. And take care!

Thank you, Delicia. I think it is even worse than the car not starting. There is something frightening in seeing my pages scrambled and not being able to respond to messages. I still don't really know what happened. I appreciate your kind comment.

Reading this and asking myself what could be the most harsh punishment? I believe solitary confinement..

I really had to laugh, Rezaul, at your comment. I wouldn't mind going into solitary confinement as long as I had my computer, a television and a Guinness every day, along with crusty bread, pickles, cheese and butter.
