When there is an extreme battle with the elements Of life! on the way to victory or defeat.

A Soldier's Battle

My artillery left diminished
after my last battle with faith.
Somewhere left for dead
I thought I'd never awake

But I arose
gathered another load
for battle,
Looked down the road
of misfortune again
and began to travel.

I traveled far, ready
for every battle war.
Still sore but prepared for
even more battle scars!

I've battled kin and I've battled sin
to no end,
But I'll never again
battle love ...
a fight I'm not able to win!

Still I march on strong
some challenge the man in me.
It's a sad song
fighting for things that are mine
namely my sanity.

So with perseverance on mind
and tears in my eyes,
A wounded and weakened spirit
from the confrontation with lies.

Being born in a cold storm
shattered hopes and dreams torn ...
Get up!
you EMOTIONAL Soldier
please keep on.

Keep strong,
Keep your might!
This last battle today
will be a battle
for your sleep tonight.

Trouble, you keep half-steppin
and telling me true lies at the same time,
But this Emotional Soldier
will be ready for war in the morning,
before you even arise.
