Be careful of the things you think about. The Law of Attraction doesn't recognise positive and negative, but will help attract to you those things you think about most. Was winning the raffle after I'd wished for it a mere conincidence?

Law of Attraction

While I certainly can't claim to be an expert on the subject, I do believe in the Law of Attraction. I believe there is some sort of energy force out there somewhere, and if you concentrate your energies on it in a positive way, you can make amazing things happen.
How often have you innocently thought of someone, only to have that person appear in your lives within the next couple of days? This often happens to me and I've even noticed it with online writing. I may think, inside my head, I wonder how a certain writer is, I haven't noticed their writing lately. Then, miraculously, next morning when I get up and log on, there is either a published article or a message from them.
Or maybe a person you've not heard of for many years enters your thoughts and within a day or two you have contact from them.
The Law of Attraction says that the things you think about most, whether they are positive or negative thoughts, come to fruition. You can visualise your own success in life through connecting with the energy of the universe.

Wishing to win the raffle

I had an interesting experience last night. I had organised a fund raising function for a committee I belong to. This was a Girls Night Out at a local pharmacy, who hosted the event at their cost, in order for us to make money from ticket sales. All we had to do as a committee was to sell sixty tickets, plus provide a few drinks and nibbles for those attending.
The evening was a fun one, consisting of demonstrations of health and beauty products, give away spot prizes and lots of advice on girly or women matters. In return, the pharmacy offered lots of specials for the night and were therefore able to make many sales they may not otherwise have made. It was a win - win situation for both groups involved. Everyone had lots of fun and it was enjoyed by all. One raffle was a sponsor donation of a hamper of health products, for anyone who purchased their product that particular night. It turned out to be a brand that I purchase supplements from and I was able to top up my supply last night at a discounted cost. I consequently put my docket into the box provided with my name and phone number.
Having worked hard to organise the event and ensure most of the tickets were sold by my band of trusty helpers, I jokingly said to the owner of the pharmacy, I expect to win this hamper you know!
When one of the pharmacy ladies who ran the night rang me today, advising I had won the raffle, I was a teeny bit embarrassed and told her what I had told her boss. She assured me he'd had nothing to do with the drawing of the raffle and at that stage was not aware I'd won it!

Believe in the Law of Attraction and it works for you

Once again, I believe the energy with which I focussed on winning the prize paid off for me. Driving home I imagined winning the prize and how I would feel at receiving my hamper of sponsor health products. I had no idea the exact contents of thr hamper, only that I felt I wanted it.
Many times in my life I've been surprised that things that have popped into my head unexpectedly have actually come to fruition. It is these spontaneous thoughts that bring about unexpected results that keep my belief in the Law of Attraction alive.
As I said above, I am not an expert and have only a general understanding of how the Law of Attraction works. But, I have had enough success and coincidental occurrences in my life, to belief there really is something here that works.
Maybe it reall is a case of, ask and you shall receive, as long as you believe you can achieve what you're asking for.

I have few similar experiences especially when I feel I have not heard from someone, it so happens they contact/meet me soon afterwards. Tough to explain scientifically though. Thanks for the share, Val - siva

Oh my, thought of an online contributor to another site today, whom I met in Singapore about this time last year. he hasn't written for that site for awhile and I decided to send him a message to say hullo. Lo and behold, when I did log in to that site a few hours, I was greeted with an article from him, his first in a long time! Who says the Law of Attraction doesn't work?!

Our thoughts/mind create the reality if we visualize it with firm belief that it will materialize. Thanks, Val, for sharing.

Well, I guess we can add ESP into the equation. There are a lot of things out there that are unexplainable and we've all had some occasions to witness them. Great article, Val

Really interested in this article, Val. It is the same, I guess, as believing that what we demonstrate to others, we will receive in return. Hopefully, when I approach an angry, depressed person, with a positive remark and a smile, they will change their attitude. Thank you, Val. (Probably does not apply to angry policemen).
