Yes amid all the heat of the divorce remember those who will be most affected.
Broken Pieces
Some divorces as we know can be long and very bitter
Those lawyers would look over every detail to the letter
But those involve at the onset it is quite clear to tell
That each main objective is to put the other through pure hell
That beautiful house where they spent many a happy moment
Has now become a hot bed of dispute now filled with heated argument
Also so too those lovingly accumulated investments and assets
Are now to be placed under the edges each person disproportionate hatchet
There can be not end to the need as those accumulated a single person
The other may certainly make it a member to be considered part of the union
So ferocious, even avaricious and very spiteful and hideous can be the scene
That even being left without undergarments will not be too seeing as being mean
In that entire rancor, tongue lashing, belittling, disparaging fighter for what each can get
Both seem to forget that there amid all this there is a now a very unsettled and scared asset
Now having to witness all this fighting, changing home environment, as each go for the other’s jugular
These are those when all is said and done will be the one who would always suffer.
Be not be mistaken some may used them as pawn in their selfish game
As perhaps getting custody may increase the quantity of what they can gain
Then too some parents try to poison that fragile mind against the former partner
And that too may be a recipe for some serious repercussion occurring later.
So even though the relationship have taken that turn for the worse
Try to explain to those little minds the reason, and the like course
Always keep their interest at heart don’t ever keep them in the dark
Because repairing those broken pieces could certainly break your hearts.

Yes it can be and whilst the parties are bitter the children get hurt

Well said my friend. When the adults relationship ends, that is what ends and only what should end. It is disgusting when parents bring the kids into 'their' problems. Nice one. Thank you for sharing.:)
