A short biography of Charlie Chaplin's life, his family and friends, his acting career, and of course his famous sense of humor!

Charlie Chaplin's Life Through the Ages

Charlie Chaplin was a famous comedy actor, entertainer, and comic and film director. Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1989 in London, England. Charlie was one of the first people to make a silent movie. He made up his own character, a funny, wobbly tramp with oversized shoes and a suit with a tiny black hat that went perfectly with his mustache. Charlie was able to connect with the audience, and make them shriek with laughter without ever opening his mouth.

Charlie Chaplin had several character traits. One of them was humorous, and very creative. Charlie Chaplin was considered humorous because he created jokes and made tons of people laugh nonstop. His second character trait is being extremely creative. Charlie was a very creative person because he created a lot of comedies all by him self and was one of the first people get an idea to start making silent movies which soon led to the silent movie era.

Charlie Chaplin’s main goal in life was to bring humor to the world. He always wanted to make people joyful, and happy and enthusiastic about everything. He tried to make every thing in life seem very funny, and he often succeeded. In an interview with a movie director Charlie Chaplin was asked what was goal in life, they were expecting a long story but all he answered was: making people laugh. It made him feel good inside, even as a child he always loved to entertain guests and family members.

Charlie Chaplin was not perfect. As any other human being he also needed to go through difficulties. One of the most difficulties that he had was, proving him self funny enough. It was very competitive and Charlie Chaplin needed to let other people know that he was good enough so that he could have his own television show. Charlie also had a hard time getting a job, but that was before he became an actor, an entertainer, and a comic and movie film director. Charlie had his ups and downs but he never gave up and kept on going until he reached his final goal in life.

Even after the dreaded day he died on December 25, 1977 at the age of eighty-eight. But even now after such a long time period everybody still laughs at his movies. Without saying a word Charlie was and always will be funnier than any comedy whether its silent or not, or if its in three-d. We will never forget him or his amazing, hilarious, and phenomenal silent movies. He will remain in our hearts forever.
