Definitely not unity

This is an article on recent events that took place in my country. Very nasty events...

Her plight

The government of my country continues to show the world their ugly side. This woman is a principal in a Hindu school in Trinidad. She came under fierce attack and parents tried to force her out of being principal of the Hindu school voicing threats if she does return.

The Monster...

...And it's all because of this man SAT MAHARAJ. He told the principal that she must not allow black people into the school, which included the admittance of black children. The Principal stood her ground and came under attack from the Secretary of the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha(SDMS), Sat Maharaj. The SDMA is a group made up of pundits in our country. Sat has accused the principal of being a traitor.
The people watched with anger the way this woman was treated. She was threatened by members of the PTA if she returned to the school what would happen.
The Prime Minister of our country has kept tight lipped and acts as if she is herself afraid of this man. I wonder if she doesn't want to be called a traitor as well and if so she is a traitor to this woman and shows no integrity at all.

The teachers board from the ministry of education set to investigate this matter cleared the principal of all false allegations bought up by the P.T.A.

This is the first time that I have seen racist people come out so plainly and without shame, showing how ugly they really are.

Kudos to Ms.Gadharsingh who stood her ground and is a national heroine.

The P.T.A have vowed vengeance in the new term of January.

Glad you've exposed your government's undemocratic and dictatorial bent to the world, Crystal. Such acts are a retrogression and should be condemned by the international community.

Thank you to all my friends for reading my article. This issue hit me hard as a woman, to see people of her own religion and race treat her this way. They want her to agree with their discrimination and hold her tongue.

Intolerance is our enemy; when we can't see another human as a fellow traveller, we deny all that is nature, natural feeling emanating from within and deny our conscience. We have to stand our ground like Sita so bravely did. Thanks Crystal for highlighting this issue - siva
