Enough Is Enough about a fisherman who goes ice fishing and the weather is way too cold, so cold he packs up his gear including the worm and leaves

Enough Is Enough about a fisherman who goes ice fishing and the weather is way too cold, so cold he packs up his gear including the worm and leaves
Down by the pond
I crouch in the trees
finding a windbreak
from winters icy breeze
I hope trout are running
and hungry for bait
It’s not a feed of McDonalds
but to them it tastes great
Me fingers are frozen
I put a worm on the hook
the weathers so cold
the poor critter shook
I put him back in the box
wrapped him up in me cuff
that’s it for trouting
we both had enough.
