From Sun to Snow: Poem

Another short poem about the mood swings I often experience and my response to such.

From Sun to Snow

Like the days, and with them too,
You change from sun to snow,
You’re not the first, God knows it’s true,
This can’t excuse you though.
A Glutton on you, I was indeed,
Those days now lost of course,
Instead I sin with such a greed,
To use unruly force.

But no, a chance of such,
But air (even with you),
My hands to softly touch,
Even when you act so cruel.

A scream, and yes a tear,
Rivers down a cheek,
The paining sight of fear,
A sign that we won’t speak.

Just yesterday your sodden eyes,
Held hands with joyful smile,
Of laughter were those sudden cries,
And it was love but for a while.

Like the days, and with them too,
You change from sun to snow,
The soreness that is having you,
Compares not to if you go.

What a complex world we all live in, with its ups and downs. I felt your struggle through your poem and my heart goes out to you. Thank you for sharing.:)
