How Does Love Define You?

How do you love?

Are you one of those girls who loves pink?

Or you into red?

Or maybe you are into black

all the way.

Are you all about floral

or do you have a passion for stripes?

Are you bold or timid?

Do you sit on your sofa and eat

bonbons and candy?

Or are you a soup girl?

Do you eat your box of chocolates

one at a time?

Or do you devour the whole box in

one sitting?

Do you love deeply

or is it just skin thick?

Do you prefer gentlemen or do you

love a sexy scoundrel?

Do you love blazing passion

or are you timid in bed?

Do you have sex with your eyes open

or do you prefer to keep them closed?

Are you the jealous type

or does nothing fire you up?

Do you prefer slacks

or do you love to wear skirts?

Do you love gentle kisses on the neck

or do you prefer whispers of sweet nothings

in your ear?

Do you try to be a sexy vixen

or are you a plain jane?

Do you prefer pumps

or are you just safer in flats?

Do you like macaroni and cheese

or are you a pizza girl?

Do you crave pickles

or are you an asparagus girl?

Are you a man or a woman?

Would you rather play a sport

or would you prefer to type at a desk?

Do you love to get love notes

or would you rather speak of love?

Do you love flowers

or chocolates?

Do you love a man

who speaks love

to you always

or would you rather have

the quiet man

who loves you all the same?

Do you talk of love

or do you silently tell them

you love them?

Are you crazy in love

or are you just testing the waters?

Do you truly love him

or are you just toying with him?

Are you playing the field

or are you determined he’s the one?

Are you the girl

who speaks up and lets people know

when she’s been hurt

or are you the girl that keeps

it all inside a bottle that is

destined to burst?

Are you all of the above

or probably just a few?

Do you wear your heart on a sleeve

or is it tucked inside a pocket?

Do you shout it out

or do you speak softly?

Are you just going to settle

or strive for the best?

Do you trust in your heart

or are you a girl

that is always confused.

Do you possess clarity

or are you in murky waters?

Scream to the world

if your love is like an ocean

that swirls in and out of tides

like the word that

means forever.

As forever is you.
