With fable, you can explain the theory or thought in funny and simple way. You can make uninteresting things become more interesting through your fable story.
The following tips can be useful in writing fable flash fiction.
What is the message of your story?
Decide whether your story conveys moral, spiritual, or social teaching. You can choose of general truth as your theme, the essence of important quotes, or essence of theory. For example, you can create the story based on the theme of "inter-dependence between organization and its best human resource." Read Lion and the Jungle.
Imagine and write the outline of your story to represent the theme.
Imagine the brief plot of the story and write it. The plot must convey your message. The plot happens because the interaction among the characters. Decide the conflict in your story. The conflict can be internal conflict within the main character’s mind, the conflict among the characters, or the conflict between the character and its situation. Decide the end of the story. When the readers read from the beginning to the end of your fable flash fiction, your story must be able to make them summarize the message of your story.
Make your characters more interesting.
Decide animal or plant characters in your story. Some fable stories also include human characters as you can read in Pre-Easter Story: Lowly Donkey and The King of Peace.
If you really want to create animal characters, you must consider the natural characteristics of the species, which you choose. You do not need to be zoologist but you must consider how such species can symbolize some characteristics. For example, donkey in some culture can represent lowly creature and lion symbolizes strong people. You also need to give your character a name. The name can be simple name of species, such as The Toad and Monarch Butterfly. Besides, you can also add simple adjective to create unique characters of the same species, such as, Green Caterpillar, Young Banyan Tree, Big Lion. The adjective addition can strengthen the characteristics of character, such as Lowly Donkey. You can also combine the name of species and proper name, such as Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. Make your readers easily remember the name of character. The name of the characters must be simple.
Turn off your self-editor and start writing.
Write your story without editing. If you use the computer, turn off the screen and type your story. It is the way to shutdown your self-editor in your mind. Let the idea flows and just write it.
Edit the grammar of your story.
It is the time to edit the spelling and grammar of your writing. If you use word processor, you can use Spelling and Grammar Tool.
Simplify the language style of your story.
You must also check the style of your fable story. In writing fable flash fiction, it is better for you to use casual style with simple grammatical structure and words. Your fable flash fiction should have less than 1500 words. Do not write too long story with complicated style because the readers need to get inspiration in simple way and in short time.
Decide the title of your story.
Choose the interesting title, which can attract people to read.

Very informative but writing fables is not for me. One of the most important things that any writer can learn is what his or her limitations are, what our fortes and foibles are. Creating works of fables is one of my foibles. My mind just does not function that way.
