I have Faith to believe -part 2

There is more we need to know about our faith. Though most of us are like robots blindly following religions and faith without ever realizing where everything takes us.

Why i need it?

As you see I am one simple person reasoning out and wants to find concrete answers to all my questions and confusions. Here I made another reflection and discovery about religions and faith. Until I proven my hypothesis is right, just like in science experiment in school, I will not stop clarifying ideas in my head.

So I want to realize now why people love religions in the first place and here are what I found true;

1. People needs religions because it is something like a badge ( I am catholic, I am muslim, I am jehovah's witness, i am born again etc.) they can attached to themselves and a public announcement that we believe in the existence of God and we are followers of HIS teachings, moral precepts.
2. We need church because we need a place apart from the homes, market, malls designated for the Lord as temple to worship him and perform rituals.
3. We need fellowship with fellow believers who also share same faith.
4. We need to show the people we truly love God, though we cannot see God we assume we feel the strong presence of God within churches and religions.
5. There are mysteries of life that we cannot answer on our own and we need the backup of religions so we are not groping in darkness.

Now, the first article i wrote was really bold to share but I do it anyway because it seems true. I do believe that if my conservative parents know about this or my old church knows about what i wrote here they would surely grab my hair or have me on firing squad, because I sound rebellious towards authority, but I know they would not do it.

I am just exploring other truthts beyond what I already know. I just do this because i have deep passion for God and also for my salvation.

Why i no longer need it?

is this a cult?

First i follow church and religions because I grew up on it, my parents bring me every Sunday and I dont question that. They bought us nice Sunday dresses and told us to behave and sit quietly at the church.

Though it seems that I am the one with really serious problem as I seem to look for a perfect church and that is not possible at this moment.

Probably, I just want to say I also believe in God but I don’t want to overdo it or exaggerate my faith.

Just because I don’t attend church does not automatically means I don’t love God or I will backslide and be free to make sin.

One obvious sign that our church turns cultic recently is what I observed during our last church anniversaries, supposed to be it is a time to celebreate the victory of jesus for the founding of church, but I observed really the celebration now focus on the performances and the extravaganza.

Before there was no rule what to wear during anniversaries, be simple, be elaborate it is up to you. But now the church imposed rules that during anniversaries you need to buy t-shirts one motif color t-shirt. Basically as I respect God’s temple I don’t want to wear t-shirt in anniversaries but a blouse.

However as I have observed all the key church figures- those who oftentimes step on the pulpit are the ones who wear blouse and elaborately amazingly beautiful dresses and i look at the rest of us newbies, sitting on the chairs or the audience wearing t-shirts which the church convinced us to buy. I began to see church is just for performances, who are popular and who are just audience.

Now our church focus more on training leaders as preachers also attending seminars for theater arts performances, hip-hop dancing, music instruments playing and pop vocal trainings, events planning. So i found out what is all this for? Am I in a reality show for who will be the next American Idol? Oh my! I lost sight of Jesus afterall, all I just seem to see is everyone is so pretty and everyone is so damn next pop superstar.

That is why I don’t go to church anymore, because it does not solve my problems and I want to know more about God’s will but everyone is busy where will be the next big event or production while everyone is now overly concern on who will take this role and that and who should be given more exposure? WHAT?

So if the church does not really care about me and just see me as one of their audience for their next performance what is this all about? So they don’t need to ask if i would like to stay because I prefer to stay at home and find some real celebrities to idolized on my TV and now I have lots of them and there is no room for more.

As i have said most churches now are gearing towards being cultic. So be careful people this is the warning of the bible :

10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Call me freak or dirty minded, one not given a break to stardom attendee whatever you like but i just so have great fear in my heart about God.
