If I were invisible
Often I witness squirrels scampering through my backyard or a glorious cardinal and blue jay only to have them scurry/fly away as I reach for the camera. I have settled for far off pictures from the (their) safety of my car or home, behind a window.
A camera bug's dilemma:
Could you imagine if you could at will
Suddenly become invisible?
No more sneaking and hiding
Standing silent and still
Just to see the animals disappear
Over the hill....
Try as I might, try as I may
The birds and the squirrels all run away
Camera lifted, subject no longer in view
What is a camera bug supposed to do?
The only pictures I get are taken afar
From an open window in my home or in my car
And EVEN then if they spot me before the button is pushed
My hopes of a picture are severely smooshed.
