What is love? But an unknown emotion to some, but a beautiful experience to those with an knowing mind.

In Love

What is love? An experience so beautiful, so pure, so intoxicating, that no words can truly explain it. Love is a drug, that does no harm to your brain. It makes your judgement hazy. You feel alive. You feel like you're floating on clouds and can touch the sky. You see true beauty in your loved one, and you never want to leave their side. Their touch sends chills all throughout your body, and you crave their kiss. The thought of seeing them again makes butterlies erupt in your stomach and a smile never leaves your face as they come closer and closer. Hours feel like seconds when you're together, but time freezes as your eyes meet and you look into their soul. Even the most educated scholars cannot put the sensation of love into words. Plato said "Love is a serious mental disease," but it's a disease that you don't want to cure and are devestated when it ends. When a romance ends, its like a piece of your very soul was ripped from your body and cut into a thousand tiny bits. And it takes ages to not feel the pain of that heartbreak. You long for their touch, their kiss, their gentle voice whispering sweet nothings to you. Nothing feels the same anymore. And you don't know what to do to get your lover back, but you know how you long for their return. You feel empty, hopeless, unwanted, worthless. You wonder if they ever think of you, if they ever long for you, if they ever miss you. With a love so strong, it takes what feels like an eternity to cease. The cravings don't end, never go away. Some days you feel like you're only alive because they breathe. And other days you're filled with rage because you can't believe they did that to you. A vicious cycle that always leaves you in tears. But love itself is beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, magnificent. While it lasts, you're in heaven. When you're with your lover, you feel...happy. Even the saddest of people could get a small glimpse at the happiness they once felt. A simple heartfelt I Love You can save a life. Love...Love is magic that you don't need a wand to perform. Love makes you feel alive, like you're worth something. Love...makes life worth living.
