It Brings Me Sorrow...

A poem about overcoming the sorrow with positive attitude.
Is the message clear to clear the clouded heart?
It Brings Me Sorrow...
It brings me sorrow
when you sit in dark
by that abysmal window
waiting for a wind of change
that may turn your mood
from whatever you brood.
That chair I put there
to relax my inner me,
when evening gloom darkens
my mind's rooms,
winnowing the ashes out of
windows of my burnt-up heart.
I know how it hurts
when forked tongues
are aimed at forlorn hearts.
It is grave to think
of the cherished & lost dreams,
it worries me too,
but Dear One,
it doesn't matter what we think.
One doesn't often mean
to hurt as we think,
let us take it in a sportive way
and let us this Life play.
Now close your eyes;
you can see that abyss also closes;
A soothing breeze comes in
and heals your grief-stricken soul.

Thank you very much for this amazing poem. Truly, the best remedy for sorrow is to absorb the past, keep an eye on the future but live in the present at fullest !

The Christian Bible tells us that weeping may last for the night, but in the morning comes joy. This is a wonderful poem. Thanks!
