Just a quick poem about those times of laziness and lack of motivation. Those days we just think "What's the point."
Lethargy over Life
Aching thumb and tired eyes are now a given thing,
I awoke to bird song greetings and cornflakes,
I think I’ll sit and wait and hope for my life to begin,
I am a stone, just hoping that the phone doesn’t ring,
Hopes of the past I know were so bizarre and great,
Aching thumb and tired eyes are now a given thing,
Life must, I feel, a reason or a purpose bring,
Routinely playing Playstation ‘til it’s too late,
I think I’ll sit and wait and hope for my life to begin,
Choices , choices of life...Rum or gin?
Or neither? Yes neither. We have a Foster’s crate.
Aching thumb and tired eyes are now a given thing,
Sun knocks every day, enticing me to see him,
“Embrace the spring, and live ‘fore it’s too late.”
Aching thumb and tired eyes are such a thing,
Are such a side of effect of waiting for life to begin.

I think we all go through this but, we can put a end to it all by just getting up and doing. Thank you for sharing.:)
