Love the World is a poem about peace to all on earth and is a poem about reaching out to others who may need us.
Love the World a poem
Love the World
What is this world coming to
when people don’t seem to care
about the world around them?
Everyone is always so busy with
their own existence that they
don’t stop to think that, hey,
the world is revolving around them
and the world is in chaos.
There’s floods, earthquakes, wars and more,
and we don’t stop to fathom
how many people are out there struggling,
homeless, jobless, grieving death, divorce,
and any other turmoil that one can
possibly think of.
People litter all over the place
and make this world a dirty place
to live in.
There’s people cursing and swearing
in front of their children,
and people that just don’t care.
We should stop and think and
then decide to protect one another.
Look out for each other, help out the world
and the poor human beings that
really need us.
Some of them are asking for help,
and some who really could need the help,
quietly pretend that they don’t need it.
But it is up to us to reach out
and lend a hand,
recognize when someone might
be thankful that we gave
our helping hands to them.
It makes us all feel good when we
can reach out and protect our world
and make it a better place
to be.
I would hate to live in a world
where nobody cared.
