Loves Crimson Heart is a poem about love and the birth of a child and growing up.
Loves Crimson heart a poem
Loves Crimson Heart
The womb is our first place of sweet warmth,
we are content to stay
and suck our developing thumbs.
Then comes the pristine day
where we are born into the world.
And our crimson hearts begin
our journey into the world
that is newly ours
to hold in our hands.
Our beating red heart holds
the keys to our passions
as we grow and dare to dream.
The child in us, devours things
and knowledge like it were a piece
of gum to chew
and spit out only sheer minutes
later after the flavor is gone.
Beat, beat, beat
thumps our fast beating hearts.
We grow older and discover
we want to learn to love.
Our hearts tell us, yes, it’s okay to love.
Do it. Do it now.
Crimson blood spills and floods our
beating organ with solid love.
It grows and grows
and swells within.
We can’t help but follow our beats
and let them flow.
Our hearts are strong and binding.
We learn to hold onto our dreams
and we trust in our love.
To love a man or woman so deeply
is like a solid block of ice.
It won’t break,
but when it melts
it has warmed our crimson hearts.
And it beats gently
with new found love.
