My First Mother's Day Without My Mother
I dreaded Sunday May 13th 2012. My first Mother’s Day without my mother. And yet, I know the day will be no different from any day before that. Because every day is mother’s day without my mother, for every day I miss her.
If you ask me what I miss most? I miss everything about her. No I am not being bias. No parent is perfect; no parent will do everything to your satisfaction. But one thing is undeniable; they are the only parent you have. Just as they put up with the errors of our ways growing up, you too must accept them for who they are.
My mom was kind, fun loving, and set an excellent example of being upbeat and positive. Even as her memory and health were failing after having two knee and hip replacement, she still loved to be around people, laugh, having her bible read to her and enjoyed her gospel music.
Rheumatoid arthritis took her from us, but she will live on in our hearts. Thank you for being the best mother in the world!
You raised your 3 children well.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. It is so hard not having your mother around, this last mothers day was the second one without my mother and I miss her so much. What a lovely tribute to your mother, she has a wonderful daughter in you. Thank you for sharing.:)
