My Wiki Life After 5 Months

I wrote this article to express my appreciation to the entire Wikinut community for the friendship and support. Since I joined Wikinut, I have always been inspired to give my best in writing.
Why I Joined Wikinut
Before I joined Wikinut, I never had an inkling that I could write. I have always admired writers for their ability to express their feelings so well. Although I have once thought of becoming a writer, I never pursued that path because I felt I never had any idea what to write. That feeling changed when 5 months ago, I came across my dear friend Buzz's Wikinut article that he shared on Facebook. I read some of his articles and enjoyed reading them. I was impressed with his style in writing that made me think that I should give it a try. I signed up and that same day, I published my first article.
It was Johnny Dod who moderated my first article. His personal message was Good start, Tess. I can't fault your article. I can tell that you will be a fine Wikinutter. His message encouraged me and gave me more confidence to write again. Thanks so much, Johnny, for that very encouraging message. To date, I have written 55 articles including this one.
I Enjoy Writing
Ever since I started writing for Wikinut, I have gained lots of friends and followers. The comments I receive from other writers inspire me a lot to continue writing. I enjoy the interaction between writers and the support from our beloved moderators. I have truly found a family in Wikinut. It is so fulfilling that out of my last 54 articles, I have garnered 31 stars. Most of the articles I have written tell about my personal life experiences, the people who are dear to me, and places I have been to. I have also written a few nice and inspiring poems, and I would like to write more poems every once in a while. Like most writers, I also experience having "writer's block", that no matter how I try, I can't come up with ideas and words to write. But listening to some writers' advice, I just wait until the right words flow again. There are times, though, that ideas just suddenly pop up and I just have to sit down, face my computer, and start writing again. The only challenge I'm facing is finding the time to do all my writings because I also have a full time job that occupies my entire day. By the time I come home, I am already tired, and all I want to do is rest and sleep. So far, I've been managing my time fairly well. It's probably because I really try to give myself time to write as writing has become one of my favorite activities.
My Future Goals
I can feel and see that I have become a better writer now compared to my pre-Wikinut time. I owe this to all my friends who have been very supportive of me. When they appreciate my work, I get more inspired and dedicated to writing. I have written quality articles, which I am proud to say, are worth reading. I am good at writing essays, and even though I have written some poems, I still believe I need to polish my skill in the field of poetry.
I have many future goals when it comes to writing such as to continue publishing worthwhile and inspirational articles, but my biggest goal right now is to learn the techniques in writing great poems. There are many excellent poets here at Wikinut, and I admire them for their knowledge and style. I wish I had their talent to compose such poems. I am confident that with practice and patience, I will be able to do it. Wikinut is a wonderful site, and although some writers have already left, I still believe that it's worth staying. I say so because of the wonderful community and awesome friends like you all.

We are glad to have you here Tess, you are a terrific contributor to Wikinut. I feel rather sorry that I have not the time to write more, I work full time and have a hobby farm so am exhausted mentally often and cannot write...

When I start here is where I gain the most in my writings. I would love to write more also. I work weird hours and I am also tired when I get home. And when I do write I have to use my step sons computer because my computer will not let send my work to the moderators. I can post comment from my computer like this one. I love wikinut and always will. Keep up the great work Tess and you are doing great work on here.
