Not SEO

Most experience web-writers know about writing so as to maimiize Search Rngine Optimization (SEO) and about the deliberate use of a technique called "keywording'" This does not, however, oblige us to use them.
Just Say NO to SEO
Writing to be read,
Journals gather dust
Meant for self-speak
And reflection.
Posting on the Web
Is to be seen
And shared instead
Putting thoughts out there
Inviting reaction
And inspection.
Following the objective
Of drawing those coveted hits
There are several
Well known tricks
That work
But compromise
The writing;
Either use them or do not,
Whore it up
Or go with
What you've got;
Keywords may draw hits
But do not enhance
The writing.
To go to SEO
Is to bait a sweetened hook
For the sake of drawing
Many nibbles
That can multiply and grow
As Captain Kirk would well know
From the party he had
With those furry pesky Tribbles.
Pandering to Panda,
To an algorithmic diety
Fathered by a Google bird,
High on a righteous perch;
There is neither art
Nor honor
In feeding it,
There are alternatives
To use to search.
Heresy, you say?
Denial?
Sour grapes?
Could be.
Keeping the goal of
Clear communication
(And sometimes, art)
In sight,
Must consider
The integrity
Of what we write.

It's got nothing to do with SEO, dear friend. Here? Not on your life!
All Wikinut has to do is just change, and SEO will follow suit, whatever..lol.

I mean you'll get mountains of skyrocketting views here of Guiness record magnitude or proportions and still you get nothing!
SEO is meaningless here, though our articles deserve an Oscar..yours especially..:-)

I have just watched a video on SEOs and, quite frankly, I don't want to be bothered with it. I do not want the natural flow of my writing to be contaminated by any kind of engine. Thank you, David.

SEO is hard work, its good to just be able to be a free thinker without such worry, but if a writer wants views and earnings, its important to know about...
