As changes occur as such a rapid pace, keeping an opened mind makes one endure the pace.

Open Minded

In my formative years this was taught to me all the time
To cultivate that habit of living my life with an opened mind
So that there will be no surprises at the range of change
Even though it may not always be to the masses advantage

Now it is so evident today as the effects come to the fore
And in often reaching as state that we now come to deplore
As we see parents’ authority is at a stage of being neutralized
Because those in change felt that the child’s right must be prioritized

Resulting now into such a situation of much indiscipline
And those experts seem to think that there is no problem
This is making people so uneasy at all levels in the society
An effect at the hand of change that took place so drastically

What about those days when people practiced how to be prudent
This have vanished and there is a now a mentality of being so mendicant
This disease has spread so wide that so many seem to be needy
Who or what is to be responsible is still a mystery to me

Then too when one address anyone the emphasis was on proper grammar
But we can see now that this too is now considered to be in grave danger
This is quite evident when children have to write a composition
There is to some such a great surprise when it is loaded with those abbreviations

As time will have it we are now seeing an increase in the number of child stars
Making more money than their parents and peers by far
Then later in life there seem to with all that success seem to regret
That they were no able to enjoy the childhood fun the others indeed get

Being one who is observant and have the love for statistic in my nature
There was little surprise in me when there was that departure
But in some cases some happened sooner than was anticipated
This one can put in perspective when one is opened minded.
