When we look, what do we see, is it the truth, or is it the truth we want it to be. How do we know what we see isn't only the lines inside of ourselves? A question that at times is worth questioning, even if it is to secure the ability that we still can have a moment of freedom to think.
Open Your Eyes
Imagination is the key they say
Look around you and you will find thee
The mirror in front of you bathroom door
Will show you to your true form
And cover everything that’s torn
Open your eyes, you will see
The one you seek is the one in thee
Once more take a deep breath and don’t fall
Even if you standing on a slippery call
To drop away from it all
To a warm discreet location of soft storm
That are far away from the broken dorm
That tears after her lovers norm
Open your eyes they say
But how will you see
If you can’t comprehend the idea of thee
How will the image be presented in itself?
When you see only the lines around the portrait
Colors are gone and you’re blinded by the dark time
Where images can smug and be as one
Broken erased and washed over in stress
Deformed form its true storm
That has not yet been reborn
Cover your eyes my child
Screamed the voice inside
Open your mind
And the ones that are blind
Will find the truth in the form of sight
Nothing is as it seems
For all is deceived in steam
The lost are far away from all its true being
You have the sight now open your mind
My lost but know found one
