Just another quick and easy meal you can make from the left over holiday season packets you wouldn't normally have in your cupboards or your freezer.

Easy cooking

This is a great meal to help you use up all that left over Christmas ingredients that normally get left at the back of the cupboard or freezer and forgotten about until you clear out and have to throw them away.

Ingredients
1 small packet puff pastry
Half packet Turkey sausage stuffing
half packet of dried sage & onion stuffing (or tea spoon chopped fresh sage & have onion)
70ml hot water

Put the Turkey sausage stuffing into a heat proof bowl and mix this together with the sage & onion stuffing & water using a wooden spoon.

Let this cool while you roll out the pastry into two long strips aprox 3 inches wide and 6 inches long - about 3 mils thick

With your hand take the stuffing mixture and shape into a long cylinder shape placing along the strips of pastry

Wet the edge slightly with cold water and fold the pastry over the stuffing to seal at the watered edge.

Place into a floured baking tray and into the oven at 180 degrees (160 in fan assisted oven) for 25 - 30 mins or until the pastry turns golden brown

Well, Faith, I really never have all that much left over because I'm a real Hungry Jack and find ways to keep using stuff until it's all gone. In fact I am out of some of the ingredients to make this dish, but it sounds so tempting that I'm adding them to my next shopping list. Thanks for the recipe, Faith.
