Chapter I: Riot
Space News sent its journalists to report chaos in Planet Dunno, where seventy percent of its citizens were Mixians. Mixians were like humans but they had green skin. They were mixed race of human being and blue people, called Saphirians. However, fifteen percent of pure humans still existed and Joko, the journalist, was one of them.
Like hungry wolves, Mixians brutally attacked humans. They burnt buildings and cars. Scream and cry expressed sadness and fear. Fire and smoke became the common scene. Joko and Tookeeman recorded the hell scene with their goggle cameras. The situation was out of control. For their safety, Joko and Tookeeman got into a black car and they escaped from the dangerous spot.
“We must go to Space Port to take the flight to another planet,” Joko said.
“This place becomes hell, now,” Tookeeman said.
Tookeeman slowed down the car and then stopped it when some Mixians were standing in front of them.
“Why do you stop?” Joko felt fear in him.
Joko looked at Tookeeman. Joko held his gun. He was ready to shoot Tookeeman.
“Easy man! I am a Mixian but you are my friend. I will not let you die. You can shoot me easily but they will slaughter you. Do you think that I agree with their animal behavior?” Tookeeman tried to calm Joko.
“Listen to me! I will not let any Mixian kill me easily. Perhaps, I will die but I will not die alone,” said Joko.
“Wash your dirty mind! If you think that I am racist like them, you are wrong. Your prejudice attracts the problem to you. Fasten your belt!” Tookeeman said.
Joko fastened his seat belt. Ten Mixians walked closer to Tookeeman’s car.
“Hey, that’s human. Kill him!” One of the Mixians shouted.
The Mixians shook Tookeeman’s car.
“Hey, you are Mixian. Bring that human out and we will enjoy killing him!”
“Sorry, I am not sadist,” Tookeeman answered.
Tookeeman moved the car backward and suddenly the car launched to the sky.
Mixians were shooting the flying car with their laser guns but the car was flying, zigzagging to the north.
“Thank you, Tookeeman!”
“You are welcome Joko. Friend is friend.
“They close the way to Space Port. We have to find another safe place.”
Joko felt relieved. They were far from the brutal Mixians.
Suddenly, they heard sound of alarm. Tookeeman saw red alert in the car’s monitor.
“Bro, we are in trouble. This car must land. Perhaps, their laser beam has struck this car,” Tookeeman said.
Their black car landed on the dessert near small complex.
“We must enter that complex,” Tookeeman said.
“Why is this complex silent? You walk first. Maybe, many Mixians in the complex are ready to kill me.”
“Joko, I will check the situation first. You stay here.”
Tookeeman walked stealthily to enter the complex. While Tookeeman was checking the situation in the complex, Joko was waiting in the car. After fifteen minutes, Tookeeman was back to his car.
“Hey, it’s clear. I think you need to use it.”
Tookeeman showed a tin of green paint and brown robe.
“You must be green and Mixians will not attack you. I will make up you to be a Mixian.”
Tookeeman smeared green paint on Joko’s face and body. Then, Joko’s face and most parts of his body were green.
“Now, you are green like ogre.” Tookeeman smiled.
“Ogre? I understand now. We, human, have hurt Mixians’ feeling by call them Ogre.”
Tookeeman only smiled.
“Wear this robe! Now, you are like Mixian. Let’s go to that complex! Maybe we can find spare parts to fix this car,” Tookeeman said.
Both of them bore their backpack and then went to the complex. They only saw ruined buildings and nobody was in the complex. The silence raised the fear in Joko’s mind.
“It’s horrible. What happened here?” Joko asked.
They were walking on the path of ruined complex with alertness.
“Hey, what are you doing here?” A stranger with blue skin asked them.
The stranger was Saphirian, people with blue skin. Then, another Saphirians appeared in front of Joko and Tookeeman.
“What the hell are you doing here, Mixians? Do you think this chaos is not enough?” A Saphirian with hefty body walked closer to Joko.
“Well, we come here in peace. We just need spare parts to fix our car. By the way, I am a human. I just painted my skin with green color,” Joko answered nervously.
The Saphirians observed Joko and Tookeeman.
“You are human and he is Mixian. Both human and Mixian are trouble makers. Mixian is heartless ogre and human is fool conqueror,” said the hefty Saphirian.
“See what human beings have done in this planet! They do domination, exploitation, corruption, pollution, and destruction. They do what they did in Planet Earth. Your race tries to dominate and conquer others but when you try to conquer the paradise, the paradise becomes hell. Why is harmonious life not enough for human?” Other Saphirian said.
“Listen to me! Please don’t over generalize! I am not human like that,” Joko tried to calm Saphirians.
“You must tell a lie. Lie is one of human defensive mechanism. I will crack your neck!”
Hefty Saphirian pointed his gun to Joko’s head and he was going to pull the trigger. Instinctively Joko grabbed Saphirian’s gun and punched his face again and again. The hefty Saphirian stepped forward. Joko saw anger in hefty Saphirian’s eyes.
“Wow, that’s what human call boxing, a famous martial art in human culture,” hefty Saphirian said.
“Muscle without tool is nothing,” hefty Saphirian said, holding small stick.
The stick became longer and longer and hefty Saphirian held spear with laser in its sharp tip. Hefty Saphirian cried and attacked Joko with his weapon. Joke moved fast to avoid his opponent’s attack. Suddenly, Joko took lower position and swept the hefty Saphirian’s feet his low sweep circle kick. The hefty Saphirian lost his balance and he was down. Joko quickly kicked the hefty Saphirian’s head.
“That’s Silat, one of human martial arts,” Joko said to hefty Saphirian.
Joko stood and was ready for the next attack but the hefty Saphirian fainted from Joko’s kick.
“Charge!” Other Saphirian shouted.
For about twenty Saphirians attacked Joko and Tookeeman. Tookeeman jumped high and kicked three Saphirians. He jumped again and walked on some Saphirians’ heads. Some Saphirians were down. Joko took hefty Saphirian’s spear and played it to defend from some Saphirians’ attacks.
“Watch out!” Joko shouted.
A Saphirian shot Tookeeman with ray gun but Tookeeman instinctively jumped and rolled on the ground to save himself.
“Joko, it’s time to go. Run!” Tookeeman shouted, seeing some of Saphirians were ready with laser guns.
Joko and Tookeeman were running through the alley. Saphirians ran after and shot them. Joko and Tookeeman hid in the ruined building to protect them from ray guns.
Joko took a deep breath. He was shocked when suddenly something from the sky was moving to them. Two Saphirians on flying scooter were approaching Joko and Tookeeman. One of them pointed his gun to Joko. Joko drew his gun. He shot those two Saphirians and both of them were down. Tookeeman jumped high to the flying scooter and controlled it. He drove the scooter to Joko.
“Come on! I drive and you use your gun to protect us,” Tookeeman said on the scooter.
Joko sat behind Tookeeman and their scooter launched. Saphirians shot them from behind. Tookeeman drove the flying scooter, zigzagging to avoid the ray attack.
“Bro, we have another trouble. They use flying scooter to chase us,” Joko said.
Saphirians with flying scooters behind Joko and Tookeeman shot them with ray gun and threw their spears.
Spears flied and the ray came to Joko and Tookeeman’s flying scooter but none hit the scooter. While Tookeeman zigzagged and accelerated his flying scooter’s speed, Joko shot Saphirians behind them with his ray gun. Saphirians below them also tried to shoot them. Tookeeman’s flying scooter dived and attacked the Saphirians below.
“Tookeeman, that’s human settlement. Maybe, it’s safe to go there,” Joko said.
Then, Tookeeman’s flying scooter veered to the west to approach human settlement. Saphirians stopped pursuing them because Tookeeman’s scooter was approaching human area.
Chapter II : Find The Safe Place
“Turn your direction! Turn your direction! You are approaching human area,” said the voice from human settlement’s fortress.
“I am Tookeeman. I come with my human friend. We need your protection. I ask your permission to enter your area,” Tookeeman spoke by using communicator of his scooter.
“You are not human. You are green. You are like ogre. If you insist to enter, we will shoot you.”
“Tookeeman, I think we should land and wait for their acceptance,” Joko said.
Tookeeman landed on the dessert in front of human settlement’s fortress. Joko saw six armored vehicles, flying craft, and flying scooters approaching them.
“Don’t worry! They are human. They are good people. They will not kill us,” Joko said to Tookeeman.
“OK, I hope human is more civilized than us. I hope human can manage their animal instinct. I hope human can control wild things in their mind. However, I am not sure bout my hope in this difficult situation. People’s animal instinct tends to appear when they are in fear,” Tookeeman said to Joko.
Joko took small bottle of fresh water and washed his face to clean the green paint on it. Even if it was really clean, Joko could see his brown human face on his small mirror.
Joko opened his laptop and turned on video phone to communicate with human beings in front of him.
“I am Joko. I am human being. I am with my friend. He is Mixian but he is good friend. We need your protection. We need to take a rest in your area.”
“Green creature like Mixian is our enemy. They are animal and brutal,” said the fortress leader via video phone.
“Not all of them are brutal. They are just like us. There is good and evil one. He has saved my life,” Joko convinced.
“We do not trust Mixian. Life is cruel. Life is competition. We need to defeat our enemy to win the competition. Mixian is our enemy and the friend of our enemy is our enemy. You are our enemy because you are friend of Mixian. Go away or we kill you!” Fortress leader threatened us.
Armored vehicles, flaying craft and scooter pointed their barrels of guns to Joko and Tookeeman.
“Joko, it’s not the place for us. Sometimes, human is like mammals. In fear, their instinct and defense mechanism make them dangerous. They reduce try their worry by threatening other. They may kill us. Just leave in peace!” Tookeeman said in a whisper. .
Joko closed his laptop and put it in his backpack. Then, Joko got back to Tookeeman’s scooter.
Joko heard banging sound and saw flying bullets.
“It’s time to go. Say sayonara!”
Tookeeman’s scooter launched and flied to the north. Like group of hunters, four flying craft and dozen flying jet scooter were pursuing and shooting Tookeeman’s scooter. Tookeeman’s flying scooter flied, zigzagging like a fly.
“Joko, it’s like a battle in video game, isn’t it?”
“It’s not funny but sick,” Joko answered.
Joko did not have any choice except shooting those who were pursuing them with his ray gun. Under threatening pressure, everyone might be wild.
His scooter was going faster and faster and it left the attackers behind. Joko did not see the attackers anymore because they reached far area from the human fortress.
“Joko, I will take you to my boarding house in P3-ACE district. I hope it’s the safe place for both of us,” Tookeeman said, boosting his flying scooter speed to the north.
“I hope the power of this scooter is enough to get there,” Joko said.
On the way to P3-ACE, Joko saw destruction in many places. Joko wished the chaos had not been real. Joko wished it had been only bad dream. Joko heard people cried for help and saw fire and smoke in many places but he could not do anything. He felt too weak to help all people. In his mind, he was small and coward.
“Joko, that’s our destination,” Tookeeman said, pointing his index finger to complex surrounded with great wall.
“Is that P3-ACE?”
“Yup,” Tookeeman answered, boosting his scooter speed.
Tookeeman’s scooter was moving faster to P3-ACE.
Suddenly, red lamp was on and the scooter’s speed was going slower.
“Scooter is going to land. The power is knocked out. You need to charge the battery,” voice from scooter warned.
The scooter landed on the dessert. It was still one kilometer from P3-ACE and they needed to take a walk.
Tookeeman and Joko continued their journey on foot. They crossed the canal and then they were walking enthusiastically.
On the way to the destination, Joko heard woman screaming. A woman was running and crying. Ten Mixians were running after her like wolves which were hunting their prey. A Mixian caught her and the other punched her face.
“Hey, leave her alone!” Joko shouted at them.
Tookeeman saw anger in Joko’s eyes. Joko was walking gallantly to the Mixians.
“O, I thought you were like us. You looked green. I know you are a human,” a Mixian said.
“Leave her and everything will be OK,” Joko said.
Two Mixians tried to hit Joko with their sticks but Joko moved faster to anticipate their attack.
“Stop! I am your kind. Leave them alone!” Tookeeman said.
They stopped fighting.
“He is like us,” a Mixian said to his friends.
“So, you are our friends. We can give these human a lesson. Let’s enjoy our party. I like to see human blood,” a Mixian said.
“Friend, Mixian is not animal. We are civilized. We do not kill weak people,” Tookeeman said.
“If you are not with us, then you will die with our enemy,” a Mixian said.
“Please don’t force me!” Tookeeman said, taking a stick on the ground.
Tookeeman held the stick gallantly. He was ready for fight.
“Kill them all!” Mixians shouted.
Like hungry beasts, Mixians were moving to attack Joko and Tookeeman. Joko took his ray gun.
“Cheap product!” Joko was angry with his gun because it malfunctioned. He could not use it to shoot. With anger, Joko threw his gun and it hit Mixian’s who held the woman’s hands. Joko ran and kicked the Mixian’s stomach.
“Run! Run to that place!” Joko asked the woman to run to P3-ACE.
Some Mixians were running after her but Joko attacked them all with his kicks and punches. He also threw his opponents to the ground. Tookeeman was excellence in using his circle kicks. He jumped and took lower position to attack vital parts of his opponents’ bodies. Suddenly, an uppercut hit Joko’s head and he was down. Some Mixians trampled him but he did not feel the pain. Everything became blurring. He saw faded shadow of Tookeeman and other Mixians. Then, everything became dark.
Tookeeman kept fighting. His kicks of anger hit some Mixians but five of them were also martial artists. They could block Tookeeman’s attack easily.
All stopped fighting. Some citizens, holding ray guns, were ready to shoot Mixian gangsters. Most of them were also Mixians. The others were human, Saphirians, and something else. Mixian gangsters felt that all races were against them.
“Leave them alone!”
“Hey, we are Mixians. This planet was only for us. Why don’t we fight together to defeat human beings?” A Mixian gangster said.
“I am Parmeen, a citizen of P3-ACE. We do not accept your racism proposal. If you are racist, go away from here or you will be dead racist,” said a long haired male Mixian.
Mixian gangsters said no word and went to the east.
P3-ACE citizens brought Joko’s body to P3-ACE. Tookeeman, Joko, and the woman took a rest in P3-ACE.
Chapter III: A Space Kampong Called P3-ACE
White sun was setting. Joko, Tookeeman, and other citizens were sitting on the floor on small hall and drinking hot tea.
“Are you okay now? Thank you for saving my life,” said black haired woman with yellow skin.
Joko remembered she was the woman who had cried for help. She was earth woman of twenty.
“I’m Makoto,” she said.
“I’m Joko Archipelago. Call me Joko!”
For about thirty citizens were in that hall. Joko had chit-chat with them and he was happy to have new friends. They were friends with various colors. They were Mixians, Saphirians, humans and other races. Parmeen, a Mixian, was one of their leaders. They were watching the news on TV. The news about racial chaos became top of the tongue but in that hall they enjoyed the evening together no matter who they were. Joko saw that there was still togetherness in diversity even if racial prejudice harmed this planet.
“Mr. Parmeen, we need your help,” an athletic man with big boomerang on his back said.
That man came closer to Parmeen and whispered something.
”Jack, we must do something now,” Parmeen said to a yellow eyed human.
“Guys, follow us!” Jack Croc said to the others.
Everybody in the hall except women and children followed Jack Croc to a house, which was attacked by thirteen Mixians. Those Mixians broke the windows and shot the house.
“Stop!” Parmeen shouted and they stopped.
“It is war. It is time for Mixians to attack human beings,” one of the attacker said.
“Yooknaf, you are part of P3-ACE. Don’t make chaos here!” Parmeen said.
“I want to give lesson to human beings,” Yuknaf said.
In front of the gate of P3-ACE, some Mixians were standing in anger. Joko could feel their killing aura.
“We must open the gate for those Mixians. They will help us to clean our place from human. It is nonsensical to protect human race. They are just immigrants from Earth. They are new comers but they are not aware of their position. They try to dominate us. They think they are the best race in this universe. We must kill them all!” Yooknaf said, raising his metal stick.
“Shut up! We are living here as one family. We have also human blood in our body. Long years ago, some humans married Saphirians, who had blue skin, and their children were Mixians, who had green skin. We are mixed race. That’s why people call us Mixian. Difference is not the reason for killing,” Tookeeman said.
“Human beings have close relationship with corruptors in this planet. They do not assimilate with us. They underestimate us. They forbid their daughters to marry us. They will keep the purity of human existence. They are going to breed pure human beings and their race will conquer us. We must banish human being,” Yooknaf said.
“Wash your horror brain, Yooknaf!” A female Mixian shouted.
“Take it easy Reena,” Jack calmed the female Mixian.
“Yooknaf, where is your heart? How could you say that? You just follow your inner animal,” Reena said.
“Well, I know you love Jack, Reena. You love a human. Love blinds you. Cupid is stupid. Stupidity blinds Mixian girls,” Yooknaf mocked Reena.
“Maybe, love blinds me but it gives me peace in the darkness,” Reena said.
“We don’t have problem with any human in P3-ACE. We are family. We are here. It’s our destiny to save our family. If you hate the others, don’t ever try to harm people. It breaks law,” Tookeeman said.
“There is no law in chaos. There is neither hero nor nice guy in chaos. Do you remember when your girl friend left you? She left you because you were Mixian and she is human,” Yooknaf said.
“Don’t over-generalize!” Tookeeman said.
“I’m sorry. It’s not time for preach. Friends, open the gate and kill human!” Yooknaf gave instruction.
“My friends, if you want to protect this place and deliver us from tragedy, we must defend this place!” Tookeeman shouted, raising the electric stick with his left hand.
“Protect this place! Save our friend!” The citizen cheered.
Yooknaf did not listen to the citizens. He and his friends were going to open the gate and welcome Saphirian trouble makers. Tookeeman ran to the gate to stop Yookaf’s friends to open.
“Get out you, dummy!”
Yooknaf’s friends attacked Tookeeman from all direction with electric sticks.
“Friends, I just try to do the right thing,” Tookeeman said, moving his electric stick to counter their attack.
Jack Croc threw his boomerang and it struck three Yooknaf’s friends. Jack Croc controlled his boomerang with remote control in his wrist watch and it flied, attacking his opponents. Joko, Parmeen, and other citizens fought against Yooknaf’s friends to prevent them to open the gate. Yooknaf saw the citizens defeated his friends. He and his friends stopped fighting.
“Yooknaf, you belong to this place. All of us live here as neighbors and family. If you want riot, get out! For those who want chaos, please leave this place. There is no riot here. It’s our decision. All in this place is part of us and we shall protect. You and your friends can choose to stay or leave this place P3-ACE,” Parmeen said, angrily.
Yooknaf and his friends kept silent. They except Yooknaf left P3-ACE district because only Yooknaf was a citizen of the district.
“Kill human! Kill human!” Mixians on the outside P3-ACE shouted.
Like horrible tide, hundreds Mixians were marching to approach its gate.
“Open the gate! Kill human!”
They threw stones, spears, and Molotov bomb. Some of them held ray guns, shooting the gate.
“I am not perfect but I will not let anyone kill me easily,” Jack Croc said, holding his ray gun.
“Defenders, take your weapon! We will protect this place. We must work together. Take your positions!” Parmeen said in loud voice.
Parmeen and Tookeeman were familiar with their district. They managed some citizens who wanted to defend P3-ACE voluntarily to be ready to protect their district. The defenders were the citizens of various race and they just wanted to protect their home from chaos. Joko also joined them. He felt lucky because so far he was still alive and he had documented the best moment in his life though his goggle camera. The wall surrounding P3-ACE became higher and higher. Strong fortress with machine guns and cannons surrounded P3-ACE.
Parmeen entered the tower. He operated the communication system. Big hologram of Parmeen’s face appeared between Mixian attackers and P3-ACE.
“I am Parmeen, the leader of P3-ACE. Let me say something. We don’t want fight. We don’t want chaos. We just want live in peace. Fight is not really we are looking for. Please leave us! Peace be with you!” Holographic appearance of Parmeen said.
The attackers did not listen. They were firing on P3-ACE.
“All citizens, this is your leader speaking. We are under attack. Activate your defensive system and take the safe position. All defenders, it’s time to play!” Parmeen instructed from the tower.
From the fortress, defenders were shooting with ray guns and throwing spears to the attackers. The night became death flash show. Cry and scream became the voice of death.
“Jack, Tookeeman, lead the defenders to push them! Other defenders and I will shoot them from above,” Parmeen instructed.
Jack Croc led hundreds defenders to exit the west gate, shooting the attackers while Tookeeman and other hundreds defenders were moving from east gate, pushing the attackers. Cannon blast was booming. Rhythm of the gun shot became faster and faster. Defenders of P3-ACE were pushing Mixian attackers backward.
“Run! Run! They have outnumbering soldiers!”
The Mixian attackers were fleeing. Rhythm of gun shot became slower and slower. Defenders successfully expelled the attackers. The battle stopped. The defenders carried injured people and they were back to the P3-ACE.
P3-ACE citizens won a battle but they could not sleep tight. They had to be always ready to respond unexpected situation. Joko, Tookeeman, and Jack drank their ginger coffee to warm their bodies from the cold night.
Joko opened his laptop, visited the news website, and posted his news. Joko read hot issues from various online social media. All was about chaos. All was about discrimination. All was about hate.
After what had happened to him, Joko thought that the media was supposed to carefully broadcast the news. The news was not supposed to raise the tension of racial hate. Joko saw that some titles could raise prejudice, phobia, and tension. Some citizens blamed human arrogance. The others blamed Mixian attitude. To end this conflict, each individual should develop peace in their mind and spread the peace to other. Each individual should overcome seed of discrimination in their mind because seed of discrimination would only result hate and conflict.
Joko remembered when Tookeeman saved him from Mixian gang. A Mixian saved a human from evil Mixians. Joko was also aware that Mixians, Saphirians, and humans in P3-ACE helped and protected each other. Each individual could choose to do good or evil. Joko believed that there was peace within each heart.
Joko wrote his experiences, his thought about other races, his interest in interracial friendship in P3-ACE, and P3-ACE’s citizens willing to protect their area from riot. Joko felt lucky that he had recorded the interesting moment with his goggle camera. Joko uploaded his articles, pictures, and video record online and he hoped many citizens in Planet Dunno would see them.
Suddenly, Joko heard loud voice of angry people breaking the silence of the night. Joko closed his laptop, wore his goggle camera on his head, and went to the source of the sound to see what happened.
“Watch what happen on TV! Mixians brutally kill our women and children. They destroy humanity. Mixians are envy of our success. They are barbarians. They are enemy of human,” a tall man in black jacket said.
“Mr. Righter, Mixians kill them because human try to dominate and exploit us. Humans are killing us slowly. Human make us decay. Human remove us from our land and stupidly try to conquer this planet. Human consider us rubbish. Human calls us the alien but the truth is you are alien. You are immigrants from other planet. Your kind thinks that our race does not deserve to be human friend,” said Yooknaf.
Yooknaf’s eyes bulged out in anger.
“Yooknaf, did Mr. Righter exploit you? Did Mr. Right try to conquer you?” Tookeeman interrupted them with his questions.
Yooknaf was silent. He did not say any word.
“Mr. Righter, have Parmeen and I hurt and killed human in P3-ACE?” Tookeeman asked.
“Maybe, one day you will,” Mr. Righter said.
“It’s just your prejudice. Your hate blinds you. Your hate attracts hate. The energy follows your mind,” Tookeeman said.
“Human has higher status than Mixian. Your beautiful sentence cannot make Mixian more civilized. The fate of human is to be high class race. That’s the truth,” Mr. Righter mocked Tookeeman.
Joko saw anger in the eyes of Mixians, who listened to Righter’s statement.
“Sir, if you think you are superior, that’s okay but don’t force the others to approve your subjective statement. You just show that you have low self confidence when you besmirch the others. No body will say yes if it has no benefit for them. I have many Mixian and Saphirian friends and they are good friend,” Joko said.
“Hey, new man! You are just visitor here. You have no right to speak. You are too stupid to agree with me. You say that because you are afraid of Mixians,” Righter said.
“I don’t seek your approval whether or not you agree with me. I don’t care if you think I am afraid. I know I’m not smart but I believe that deep down inside everyone, there is peace. Some Mixians have saved my life and that’s the truth. Your idea about high class race is nonsensical. All races have the same status. There is no competition between us. If you think it is competition among races, you will face endless war,” Joko said.
“Shut up or you cannot speak anymore!” Righter pointed his laser gun to Joko.
“Wow, is that human behavior? A dominator will kill their friends after kill all their enemies,” Yooknaf laughed.
“Yooknaf, you are just envious because your kind cannot dominate,” Righter said.
“I will make hole on your head, Mr. High Class!” Yooknaf said, pointed his gun to Righter’s head.
“Whoa! Whoa! Yooknaaf, calm down! Your envy may empty the water of life in you until your heart will be dry. If Righter and you kill each other, you will inspire war. Hate will inspire hate. Racism will inspire your opponent’s racism. Your radical thought will inspire your opponent’s radical thought. You will harm the unity,” Parmeen said.
“Your beautiful words are boring. It’s the time for war!” Yooknaf shouted.
Yooknaf’s face looked more serious. Everyone could see evil in his eyes. His finger was moving to pull the trigger but suddenly a boomerang hit his hand and then he lost his gun. All paid attention to Yooknaf. Joko used his chance to twist Righter’s arm and Righter dropped his gun. Righter kicked and punched quickly. A side kick struck Joko’s chest and he move backward. Yooknaf realized that it was Jack’s boomerang. He ran to Jack, attacking him angrily.
“Stop!” Tookeeman stood between Jack and Yooknaf and they stopped fighting.
“Look! That’s brutal attitude of Mixian. Animal is an animal,” Righter mocked Yooknaf.
Like fierce wolf, Yooknaf looked to Righter eyes. Yooknaf was walking closer and so was Righter. It did not need genius to read that they were ready to fight.
Tookeeman blocked Yooknaf’s way and so did Jack Croc to Righter. A Mixian faced Mixian and human faced human.
“If you want to fight, fight against me first!” Tookeeman challenged Yooknaf.
“A man like you cannot represent all human. If you want to make trouble with any citizen here, I will smack you down,” Jack Croc smiled at Righter.
“Jake, you are human. You are supposed to be with me to destroy those monsters,” Righter said to Jack.
“Mr. Righter, it’s not war between two different races. It is war between people who dream peaceful togetherness and those who choose chauvinism,” Jack said.
Yooknaf stood gallantly. He was ready to fight against Tookeeman.
“You are traitor of our race. You will regret,” Yooknaf said.
Yooknaf jumped here and there, attacking Tookeeman with his circle kick. Tookeeman was moving beautifully like snake to response Yooknaf’s kicks.
With his big hands, Righter tried to hit Jack Croc’s head but Jack blocked his attack. Like a kangaroo, Jack jumped and shot straight punches at Righter’s face and Righter was attacking him with various punch styles. Jack Crock jumped and kicked quickly with his both feet to Righter’s chest. It was strong kick and Righter rolled on the floor.
“That’s Kangaroo double kick. I think it’s enough for us,” Jack Croc said, standing and waiting for next attack.
Righter jumped and rammed Jack. Both of them fell down to the deep pool and they were wrestling in the water. Citizens could not see what happen in it. They only saw something moving in the water. After wondering what happened for five minutes, they saw two bodies appeared from the pool. Jack Croc dragged Righter out from the pool. Righter was faint and powerless.
“Do you know why my last name is Croc? I can wrestle in the water like a crocodile. Do you want more fight?” Jack Croc asked.
Powerlessly, Righter raised and moved his hand to indicate that he gave up.
The duel between Tookeeman and Yooknaf went on. Both were kickers. Both were moving and kicking quickly with various styles. Tookeeman somersaulted quickly and stepped on Yooknaf head. Yooknaf was down and knocked out while Tookeeman stood gallantly and won.
“Ho, ho, ho, there is big fight here,” an old man with white beard and green interrupted, holding sandal wooden stick which produced mystic aroma.
“Master Koolas Smarr,” citizens said, touching their left chests with their respective right hands and bowing to welcome the old man.
Master Koolas Smarr gave his sandal wooden stick to Parmeen and walked closer Yooknaf.
“Yooknaf, take a deep breath and relax!” Master Koolas instructed, moving his hands in front of Yooknaf body as if he had swept something with his hands.
Yooknaf relaxed, breathing smoothly. He felt that Master Koolas harmonized his energy. Then, Master Koolas did the same thing to Mr. Righter. Both Yooknaf and Righter opened their eyes. All citizens there saw smiles in both faces. Both sit on the floor and said thanks to Master Kolas.
Master Koolas took his stick back from Parmeen and he said,”All citizens here have known that I am half Mixian – half human. My appearance is like human but I have Mixian in my blood. When I was young, some Mixians rejected me to be their friends because I was like human and some human underestimated me because my father is Mixian. I have heard human’s prejudice toward Mixian and Mixian’s prejudice about human. They discriminated each other and unfortunately I was in the middle of discrimination.”
“But, our fathers accepted you here, didn’t they?” Parmeen interrupted.
“Yup, I feel that P3-ACE family accepts me. No matter who I am, we become friends. Mixian, human, and other race have lived together here for long time and I think the conflict in this planet shall not destroy our togetherness in diversity,” Master Koolas said.
Joko recorded the situation with his candid camera because he did not want missed interesting things.
“Hail all citizens!” Master Koolas said, raising his hands.
“Hail Master Koolas!” The citizen replied.
“We need to love and respect each others. We cannot live alone. We are one family in this planet. Remember! When you point your index finger to someone, other fingers point at your self. When you see mistake in others, see if any mistake in you. When you judge and criticize others, judge and criticize yourself. When you say that other people discriminate you, see whether you discriminate other. When you become the envy of the others, see whether you have underestimated or disrespected other people. When you are jealous, see what you have done and learn form successful person. You don’t need to be envy. You must respect yourself. Be grateful! Be humble when you have more than other citizens do! Be confident when you have less! You need to be happy to see other citizen’s happy. Now, it’s up to you all. You can choose to bring riot here or we can live together. The future of this place depends on your decision,” Master Koolas said.
“Master, why do you give the citizen a choice to make trouble? We should force them to unite,” Parmeen whispered at Master Koolas’ ear.
“Parmeen, don’t use oppression to unite them. If they choose to destroy this place, let them do. If they choose to protect this place and all citizens in it, we must support them,” Master Koolas said.
“All citizens, it’s not up to you. Nobody forces you. You can bring this place to hell or live together!”
All citizens there were silent. They were looking each other.
“We choose to live together! We choose to protect this place!” Reena’s voice broke the silence.
“Yeah, we are one. We have lived in harmony and we will!”
“Save P3-ACE! Save this place!”
“Not only in this place, we should spread peace in this planet,” Makoto said.
More and more Mixians, human, and other race said yes to save P3-ACE. Some citizens, who had previously agreed with chaos, also followed them.
Chapter IV: Choice
Suddenly, big shadow blanketed their area. A very big space vessel was flying above them. All citizens paid attention to the vessel. Band of human soldiers were dropping from above, attacking the citizens.
“Secure this area!” Parmeen shouted.
Citizens ran to the save place. Human soldiers’ gun shot frightened the citizens.
Tookeeman hit five soldiers with his electric stick. It did not kill them but its electric power could make the soldiers powerless. Master Koolas Smarr were twirling his sandal wooden stick, attacking some soldiers who tried to shoot Mixians. Joko Archipelago took lower position and moved gracefully and smoothly, sweeping some soldiers’ feet. Jack Croc threw his boomerang, hitting some soldiers.
“Joko, what are you doing here?” A human soldier said.
“George, it’s you? They save my life. Stop attacking!” Joko said.
“Soldiers! Stop!” George commanded.
Human soldiers stopped their attack.
“Commander Young! It’s Sergeant George speaking. Mixians and humans work together to defend our attack. We must cancel our attack,” George communicated through his head set.
“Cancel the attack! I need to talk with the leader,” Commander Young spoke from the vessel.
Booming light dropped to the ground and five human beings went down through it. They were Commander Young with his guards.
“Welcome to P3-ACE! I am Parmeen the leader of this district.”
“I am Young.”
All citizens gathered and human soldiers saw that human and other races lived together in P3-ACE.
“We want to save human from Mixian attack. You should release human from this district,” Commander Young said.
“We do not need to release anyone because we never detain anyone,” said Parmeen.
“We must save human,” Commander Young said.
“Attention please! This vessel will save human. If any human being wants to join them to the safe place, you can follow Commander Young,” Parmeen announced but no body answered.
“Joko, you must follow us,” George invited Joko.
“No, I must be here. There is something of peace in this place which I must record and broadcast,” Joko rejected.
Joko saw Makoto and said,”Makoto, you must follow them. They will bring you to the safe place for human society.”
“No, thanks! I am with you here. I am falling in love with this place,” Makoto said.
“With this place or with me?” Joko asked.
“With this place, of course,” Makoto said with nice smile.
Commander Young held loud speaker and spoke with it.
“My human friends, we must save ourselves from this riot,” Commander Young said.
“I am a human and I choose to stay here with my friends,” Jack Croc said.
“Yeah, we are safe here. We protect each other,” other human said.
Human soldiers did their job to collect information if any human being wanted to follow them.
“Mr. Righter, you can follow them if you want. We will protect your home here,” Master Koolas said.
“No, Master. I have been living here for two years. Even if I hardly interact with Mixians in P3-ACE, they never do criminal thing to me in this district. That vessel is for human only and radical Mixian outside may hunt it. Even if I do not like Mixian, I choose here because I have seen that Mixian and human work together to protect this place,” Righter said.
No human followed Commander Young. He and all his soldiers were back to the vessels and left P3-ACE.
Chapter V: P3-ACE is Flying Kampong
Day by day, P3-ACE was in temptation. There was no sign that government of Planet Dunno tried to do something to overcome bad situation. More than one times, gangs of Mixians tried to provoke citizens to make riot in P3-ACE.
Sometimes, radical Mixians attacked P3-ACE but the defenders successfully fought of the attack. However, citizens’ commitment to peace was immovable like a mountain. Joko posted the news online about warriors of peace in P3-ACE and there were many positive responses about it.
In a full blue moon night, the gate guards of P3-ACE reported that armed and dangerous Mixians were marching from all direction, approaching P3-ACE. All defenders were ready in their position. In the main tower, Parmeen, Tookeeman, Joko, Jack, Master Koolas, and other crewmembers watched the attackers’ movement.
The attackers’ commander communicated with Parmeen by using video phone.
“I am Doomer, the commander of this BOM soldier. I have heard the reputation of your district. Your people reject the Mixians to attack human. Your district protects our enemy. Mixians who protect human are traitors. You betray our race. Maybe, your district has inspired some district to protect human but today we will send you to hell. Other Mixians will learn what hell they will get if they protect human. Now, open your gate and let us finish human!”
BOM was abbreviation of Blood of Mixians. It was radical Mixian organization which actively propagated hate in Planet Dunno. BOM had bad track record of doing violence to humans. They tried to put end of human peaceful life. They made human beings felt how cruel Planet Dunno was. That night, they showed their fangs. They threatened lives of citizens in P3-ACE.
“You are not my boss and I am not interested in your proposal. Your idea only brings war and destruction,” Parmeen said.
“BOM is society of Mixian warriors. We are recognized only in battle. Human beings are beneath our race. If you do not dare to kill them, we will. Open the gate!”
“We have made choice to live together. We fully choose our destiny. We are not your followers. Go away from us!” Parmeen shouted.
“You underestimate our offensive power. You’ve just switched on the trouble in your life. You will die with humans,” Doomer threatened.
BOM soldiers roared in anger. They were moving to P3-ACE like scary Tsunami. Canon blasts were booming and they were shooting with their ray guns.
“They are firing on us!” Tookeeman shouted.
“All defenders, fire!” Parmeen gave instruction.
The defenders were firing BOM soldiers, who were attacking their district from all direction. BOM soldiers were bombarded P3-ACE unmercifully. Artillery, tanks, and fighter planes made BOM soldiers become formidable in that battle. Some their tanks were drilling and making under ground track to P3-ACE.
“My son, don’t forget to save your work because you don’t know when the electricity down. Do anything you need before you are late to do,” Master Koolas said to Joko.
The Master’s words made Joko realize something.
“Maybe, I will have no chance to post the news anymore. I have to broadcast this live battle online. I will let people see this live battle,” Joko said, moving his fingers on his laptop to connect with all camera system of P3-ACE to broadcast the incident from many views.
All people could see live battle online. BOM were moving closer and closer to P3-ACE.
“I will fight until my last breath,” Parmeen said.
“Parmeen, now, we should escape,” Master Koolas said.
“What? I am war veteran and there is warrior inside me. I will fight like Spartan.”
“Mr. Parmeen, Master Koolas is right. You are not alone. We must save children and women in this district,” Jack said.
“My son, we don’t know what will happen but we must do our best to protect the citizens,” Master Koolas said.
Parmeen checked the situation of the defenders, which the cameras from various spots in district caught. He thought they would not survive the maneuver if they just stayed there.
Parmeen took a deep breath. He pressed a button on the command console.
“All citizens, please go to the safe place, sit, and fast your seat belt. All defenders, please take your positions. Our district is in transformation process. We are going to leave this land,” Parmeen commanded.
Parmeen, Jack and Tookeeman pressed some buttons. The fortress wall of P3-ACE became higher and the wall formed very big doom which covered the top of whole P3-ACE district. The ground seemed to be moving. P3-ACE took off. It became big flying saucer.
“Jack, you drive! Tookeeman, activate the shield and shoot them to protect this ship!” Parmeen instructed.
P3-ACE flying saucer was flying, zigzagging to escape from battle field. Like furious bees, four fighter planes and three starships ran after P3-ACE. The pursuit was relentless. P3-ACE flying saucer was shooting the pursuers by using blue beam.
“Jack, we are going to go to the space. Not all their planes are strong enough to fly through turbulent atmosphere. We are going to reduce the number enemies. Drive this ship out from this planet!” Parmeen commanded.
P3-ACE flying saucer flied higher and higher. It flied through the turbulent atmosphere, leaving Planet Dunno. In the space, only three starships were running after P3-ACE while the planes, which were not strong enough to go through the atmosphere, did not follow. Three BOM starships were shooting their target more furiously.
“They lock our signal. Their electromagnetic attack makes this system malfunction,” Jack said.
“Can we move?” Parmeen asked.
“I can’t. Now, our ship is like frozen bird,” Jack said in frustration.
BOM starships launched three guided destroyer rockets. The missiles were going to crash P3-ACE. P3-ACE was in critical situation like and egg in the tip of horn. Every citizens of faith prayed for safety.
“We cannot move and they will kill us,” Jack said hopelessly.
“Almighty Creator, let everything happen to us is thy will. So be it,” Master Koolas prayed.
“I never loose hope. We can explode those rockets,” Tookeman said, moving the stick right and left to aim starship’s cannon to the guided rockets.
Tookeeman hesitated to shoot.
“My son, take a deep breath, relax, keep harmony between your brain and heart,” Master Koolas said, touching Tookiman’s right shoulder.
Tookeeman did the Master’s advice and shot the rockets. A rocket blasted but two other rockets were moving closer and closer. Tookeeman were shooting the rocket hopelessly but nothing happened. All citizens there felt that they were going closer to their death.
“Thy will be done,” Master Koolas said, closing his eyes.
Everyone was in despair. They thought the blast of the guided rockets would end their life. Tookeeman thought it was the last time for him to shoot something. His pulse pounded wildly. Jack thought it was his last action as space pilot. Parmeen thought it was his last leadership experience in his life. Joko thought it was the last news from him. Master Koolas only closed his eyes, dropped to his knees, and smiled. The end became their common state of minds.
Suddenly, four small rockets crashed the guided rockets and they blasted. Some starships were attacking BOM starships. Some of them were space cop’s starship and the others were unknown.
“Leave these place or we will destroy your vessel!”
“Turn your direction! It is inter-planet area. We are space cops of United Planet Organization.”
In his starship, Doomer saw many starships would attack them. They chilled the anger of Doomer and his Mixian soldiers. BOM starships turned around and ran away.
Everyone in P3-ACE cheered. They found hope. With high tech tools, a starship called Logos pulled P3-ACE and brought it to the space station.
“You are welcome.”
Chapter VI: Peace Inspires Peace
After the battle, Parmeen and his crewmembers had teleconference with Logos’ crewmembers. Parmeen saw Logos team also consisted of citizens of various races. Most of them were human beings and Mixians.
“Mr. Parmeen, many districts have been inspired by togetherness in your district so have we. The news about harmonious relationship and togetherness of diversity gives good inspiration to many people. What your district did become tip of the tongue. We realize that deep down inside of everyone there is peace. Those who love peace send message to government to overcome the critical situation. Some refugees like us also want peace and we ask United Planet Organization to meet government of Planet Dunno,” said the captain of Logos.
“Joko, your news works,” Tookeeman smiled at Joko.
“Hearts of everyone here have saved us,” Joko said.
P3-ACE landed on United Planet space station. They fixed and maintenance their ship’s machine and brought injured citizens to space hospital.
A week later, the riot in Planet Dunno stopped. Responding citizens’ will and United Planet Organaization’s advice, the Government sent cops, military soldiers, Red Cross, and enforcers to overcome the riot. The government processed trouble makers in Planet Dunno notwithstanding who they were and what groups they belonged to. Unity became hot topic and almost all citizens were going to celebrate the diversity. What happened to P3-ACE inspired many citizens of various groups to live together.
P3-ACE flying kampong returned to Planet Dunno. It landed on its previous area and transformed into a district. The smiles of citizens in P3-ACE showed gratitude.
In a fresh morning, Joko and Makoto were standing in front the gate of P3-ACE.
With her smile, Makoto said,”I bet your girlfriend is waiting for you.”
“You are not good gambler.” Joko’s voice rumbled in laughter.
“So, am I wrong?”
“What’s your occupation? Are you a full time or par time house wife?”
“I am math teacher and I haven’t married. So, I am not a wife.”
“I bet your cell phone’s inbox is full of you boyfriend’s love message.”
“Don’t bet! You will lose your money. You are not good gambler. A good gambler is mind reader. You cannot read my mind.” Makoto smiled at Joko.
“I got C in reading. Would you teach me to read?” Joko asked.
“Maybe, café is good place for us to learn together.”
“That’s good idea. Space Café has opened. I like Earth Coffee,” Joko said.
Joko stopped a yellow taxi. Then, they got in and left P3-ACE.
In peace, people can enjoy beauty and plenty of life.
