I had never heard of the Tasmanian Tigers - have you? They think they existed until the 1930's ..... but did they?

The Hunter - a movie

This movie stars William DaFoe and Sam Neil ... a great cast. They are after the Tasmanian tiger - which may or which may not exist. The jungles are thick ..... the greens are green .... the jungle is untouched by humans. How nice!

This tiger is a relative of the wolf and the last specimen died in 1936 in captivity. Oh my. It had striped fur and a dog-like face.

William DaFoe is determined to hunt one down .... one can see a dinasaur coming out of the jungle and charging down on him. Whew!

Does he get his prey? I won't ruin the movie .... Hope you enjoy!

Tasmanian tigers really did exist in Tasmania, Australia, Christine. Sounds like the movie could be a fascinating fictional take on the real thing, I must watch out for it.

Isn't it a shame they are no longer around. The movie does sound good.

Sad that these exotic animals were very likely hunted to extinction.
