The Beach

A poem about a beautiful beach and how I wish I were there right now. Care to join me?

The Beach

I dream about this beach each day,
It's where I want to go and play.
The white sands and ocean blue,
Will make my every dream come true.

I'll leave this winter far behind,
And feel the sun - oh so sublime.
I'll get a tan and stroll the shore,
Who could ask for anything more?

The waves I'll surf and then I'll see,
If a swim will do for me.
Maybe a lunch upon the shore,
I hope this dream comes true, you see.

Please come with me - I'll be the host,
I promise you'll enjoy it most.
The beach is calling - can't you see?
It's calling you and calling me.

You are a nice poet.

Nice work and a rhyme scheme is balanced.
