The one you desire may come only once in your life, so reach forth and embrace that chance. Yes, I married a blond!
The Girl With the Flaxen Hair
THE GIRL WITH THE FLAXEN HAIR
I saw a girl with flaxen hair,
I looked again, she was not there,
She came around the other side,
Caught me unaware, my eyes wide,
Most beautiful girl ever seen,
Both far and wide, and in between,
I saw this girl with flaxen hair,
She took my hand right then and there,
Gazed in my eyes with eyes of blue,
Knowing there that I had no clue,
She whispered sweet things in my ear,
And it calmed me and all my fear,
I saw this girl with flaxen hair,
Take me gently with such great care,
She brought to me such sweet delight,
Oh, if I could just keep this night!
Beneath the full silvery moon,
I did embrace this beauty soon,
I saw a girl with flaxen hair,
She gave to me all that she bare,
Her mind, her body, and her soul,
I did reach for my desired goal,
I caught it all and loved the touch!
I know I love her, fore’er much,
She is the girl with flaxen hair,
There’s only one, she is so rare.
