Twelve Red Roses For Valentine’s Day: A Poem About Their Meaning
My love gave me twelve red roses on Valentine’s Day.
A floral gift to celebrate the past, the future and today.
The first rose is for the day that we met.
It is a special day neither of us will ever forget.
The second rose is for beautiful shared memories.
We will always remember these.
This third rose is for hope.
The magical promise that our love will grow.
The fourth rose is for faith.
A reminder that good things always wait.
The fifth rose is for forgiveness.
You can’t have love without this.
The sixth rose is for a passionate kiss.
There is no better Valentine’s Day gift.
The seventh rose means dreaming.
Without that, life has no meaning.
The eighth rose is for the precious laughter.
Happiness shared together forever after.
The ninth rose is for giving.
The real reason that we are all living.
The tenth rose means an eternal promise.
To be completely honest.
The eleventh rose is for learning.
Always embracing the time that keeps on turning.
The twelfth rose is for love.
May we always give one another enough.
My love gave me twelve red roses for Valentine’s Day.
Their meaning will never fade.
