"As with many other websites Wikinut earns money by selling advertising space. For every article on our site we show targeted adverts." Chief Nut
Advert placements
Perhaps every Wikinutter has already – once or several times – read the article "How does Wikinut work?" By Chief Nut. Only a single sentence from that article suffices here:
"As with many other websites Wikinut earns money by selling advertising space. For every article on our site we show targeted adverts."
And you know that we receive 50% of the advert revenue. Wow, this is cool. We write about anything that interests us. And what we write and publish here earns us a lifetime royalties. So, do we write for money?
I am not really into this discussion. On this, Jerry Walch did wonderfully with his “Does What you Write Really Matter?” article. And the comments by the other Wikinutters give even further background. What I want to fetch to your attention is how the adverts are being placed in the Wikinut contents.
First, notice that very few advertisements are available. So far, I could only count Google offering home based job (supposed $129 per day) and the unlimited video download ad. Somewhere in some content, I remember having seen an ad for Travian game.
Aren’t there other advertisements to be placed in our contents? Not that I am all into money sucking, I only want Wikinut community to grow rich. After all, the fifty percent of the advert revenue remains with the Wikinut itself. So shouldn’t any rise in ad amount mean a rise in revenue for Wikinut itself?

This is very serious, too, i think. I'm new here but i've noticed that the ads available are very limited in number and diversity...
