It was not easy but they did it. Sacrificed their lives and fought with the rulers to give 30 crore countrymen a better future. Let's learn about them and let's learn from them.

Indian Independence Day

On the eve of 66th anniversary of our independence day I would like to wish you all a very Happy Independence Day.

Today we are free to express our thoughts, free to settle anywhere in the country irrespective of the religion we follow and the language we speak. We have the right to vote and elect our representative who collectively with other elected members form the government and work for the country and people. We have the right to education, equality and freedom to follow any culture and religion. But almost all of us never realised the value of this, may be it’s because of the human nature that we don’t value things we get for free.

How do we celebrate our Independence Day?

Waking up early in the morning we all hurry up to either schools or offices or grounds or places where the event is being organized. There are tri colour badges on the shirt, flags in the hands, patriotic songs playing loud everywhere and a pride in the eyes of being a citizen of this country. A few patriotic speeches, cultural events and at last sweets distribution, all put together makes this day special.

The Real Heroes Of Our Nation

Today we all celebrate our Independence Day on 15th of August every year and hardly know or remember the freedom fighters, their sacrifice and the struggle they had to go through to make the coming generation’s lives better. I am listing here the names of few freedom fighters, this list doesn’t have names of all the freedom fighters but some who had taken the charge to lead the movement and sacrificed their lives to make it possible.
