2 poems dedicated to my mother for Mother's Day. :-) ;-)

Me & You

Me & You

Two parakeets

One blue, the other green

I could never remember who was who

Only my mother knew and could tell them apart

For she named them

Me & You

(Me & You were my mother's pet parakeets, one a male and the other a female. I could never tell the other apart.)

A Mother's Poem

More wonderful than we can know

Optimistically there for us

Trusting no matter how we treat her

Heals our broken heart, soul, mind, body

E’er gracious than she knows

Right, always right, e’en when we don’t want to see the truth
