This poem is about eating the right foods cooked in the right way to keep you fit and healthy.
Diet!
A balance diet promotes the right
nutrients for the body,
Small portions of carbohydrates,
fat, fibres, vitamins, minerals,
fruit and vegetables and water.
Remember!
You are what you eat.
Intakes!
low fat
Low salt,
Reduced sugar
Lots of water,
Grill, bake, boil, steam and roast.
Leave junk foods alone!
Read food labels,
This is the recipe for a healthy body.
These type of diets!
Reduces heart problems
Reduces high blood pressure,
Prevent diabetes
Reduces weight,
Keeps your body active and healthy
To enjoy good quality of life.
