Angry at not having money even though work sucks..

A Dollar In The Washing Machine.

You may think I'm a joke,
But I'm the wrong kind of bloke to fuck around with.
You may think it's funny,
Though the burbs are flat broke
And everyone's talking sorrows.

Working for hours for a lousy pack of smokes,
Walking to and fro,
Some not knowing where to go
Or care.

This urgency is emergency
We're dollars in the same currency;

Being repeatedly a fool,
Slave to the mint,
And endlessly spent,
Being sent to the cleaners now and again.

How does it feel to be lied to by the people who lead you?
Believe what you want,
But the ceiling only goes so far.
The truth is in the pesticides,
Locked away in safes,
Tucked in the broken parts of your car
That were meant to be "indestructable".

Hopefully you know
The government's goal.
It's the green,
The dollar,
And no, not the ganj.
Not even health, or cunning.

It really sucks that there's no better cause for our fellow man.
This plan must involve the loss of hope and heartthrobs-
All around distrophy.
Well come on,
Where's the harmony?

There's much better ways of charming me into obeying the law,
Than taking what the people want and leaving these scars.

I think that I'm in trouble,
For not being perfect in a world where we're worthless to everyone.
Let's try spreading the love,
And finding a solution to the things that we need.
Maybe then there will be some harmony.

It is young people like you who are the future. I hope that your generation can find a way to make it better for everyone. I may be in the minority but I have faith in the young people of today. We were all young once.

Wow, that really means a lot; thank you so much. I hope that my generation realizes what we have to do to make things right again. I'd love to be part of a movement, but my organizational skills are terrible. I know even if it's not my generation, people are getting closer to having a universal idea of what's right, and hopefully good intention will no longer be the minority. Dreamers Never Die.
