A collection of sad poems for those who have suffered the loss of a special love

A Heart Cries Out

It is dark now, she is all alone
Her own silence is deafening
Surrounding her with its icy fingers
There is no one she can turn to, except Him
She needs Him more than ever
Her very being cries out to Him
Hear me…..please hear me she begs
Her words falling onto the floor
Like a shattered glass
She has become nothing more than a mere shell
Existing in a frozen place she calls isolation
Her bruised heart can barely endure the pain
She fears the end is near
Hear me…..please hear me she begs
Her own private prison
Where time stands still
Hidden away from the Truth
On her knees, eyes filled with tears
So cold inside, she is so weak
Needing Him to hold her in His loving arms
To hear His words
She longs to be in His presence
To walk with Him
Hold His hand
He is her only hope
She sits on the cold wooden floor
Such an empty place
And waits for Him
