A Man Who Sells Fate

From Classical Music to Blues Music of the 30s, and even into the modern era, there have always been stories, which lingered about musicians and artist alike selling their souls for fame and fortune.

I went to a place I heard of
A full moon shined down from above
Staring at the moon while I wait
To meet with a man who sells fate

I did not think this to be real
But if true should I make a deal
What does the value of a soul rate
To meet with a man who sells fate

Across from me a man appeared
With a contract in hand he leered
To leave or stay I hesitate
To meet with a man who sells fate

I went to a place I heard of
To meet with a man who sells fate
