A Message to Those Who Are Not Loved Back

Is it possible to not get hurt in loving someone who loves someone else?

Love is not about possession.

You can love his smile even though you're not the reason behind.
You can love his eyes even when those two inexplicably wonderful orbs never stare back.
You can love his hands though their warmth never pass through you.

'Cause that's what love really is. It is appreciating the beauty of a person without ever having a selfish desire to claim it.

"How can I move on?"

Trying to move on is just you- lying to yourself. You can make yourself believe that you can get over this man when trying to forget him only makes you think of him more.

You don't have a say on who you fall in love with and who you don't. That someone could be the ugliest beast you have ever met. But if he can start a fire inside you that no one has ever been able to light before, then that's it.

Now if that feeling causes you any pain, just let yourself get burned.

Of course it hurts and it won't be easy

You'll get this particularly heavy feeling in your chest that slowly drops down your stomach, crushing everything inside you whenever you see him laughing with someone else. You'll see joy in his eyes when he looks at her and you'll be filled with jealousy.

Just let yourself feel it.

Love fades away in its own time. We don't really get to choose when.

If you love someone, love unconditionally. Even with a 100% possibility that you'll never be loved back. Just keep loving that person.

When you love, the first thing you have to accept is the fact that that person could never be yours. In that way, you can love without expecting anything in return.

Love can cause heartburn but that should not make us balk at the possibilities. Loving without borders has helped me towards a fulfilling life. Thanks for this nice share - siva
