Strange things do happen around us and it may be because of our tight schedule that we simply ignore them. Do you know what it means to slow down and enjoy the views on your way?

A Miracle

This 6-year-old kid was crossing a river alone
He was walking along the two lengths of
coconut tree trunks
laid parallel and about twelve feet from one bank
to the other bank.
It was raining heavily the previous night
He slipped and fell into the river
The basket he was carrying rested
on the two trunks
The contents were intact
The poor fellow went right into the water
He saw bubbles above his head
Surprisingly, he was moving upward
though he was not able to swim
He grasped on the creepers
and pulled himself out of the water
Why wasn’t he drown?
Was it Jesus saving him?
Was it Mary ?
Was it a deva ?
I have no answer

When he reached his grandmother’s place
She helped him to remove the shirt and the shorts
Cleaned them and dried them in the fierce hot sun
The incident was closed
Not every family can afford to have a maid
to look after their kids
Was it because of his mission
on this planet that he escaped death?
Was it his good deeds in previous lives?
