We lose track of reality in of pursuit ideologies. It is still unclear what drives our mental state to choose stress over relaxation. Through our blatant pursuit to live in a virtual world we have failed to connect with our inner desires.

A Moment of Descent into Reality

The soul is not at peace
The flower petals have fallen
The trees' root has dried
The worms beneath the earth are starving
Our minds are dwindling
Lost in our own virtual world we fall

Buildings collapse and surround air is toxic
The youth and innocence is lost
Mothers feel the pain and heartache and grievances
Their children are plucked from the womb
Their images are destroyed by subliminal directions
Of a herd of a crowd stuck in vain pursuit

Health is considered a side effect while images are elevated
The trees are dried
Waters have subsided
The soil is acidic
Our crops are genetically manipulated
What’s next to come for humanity
Is it our children or our spouses?
Reality is just too scares
Virtual directions are in place.

Sensory pursuits are enslaving us more by the day. We reach the destination empty devoid of real fulfillment. We know the cost of everything at our fingertips but the value of nothing - siva

Sorry you view life this way. Pity there are many like this with a negative outlook but there are some of us who actually love being part of life in our reality.

Hello lady, unfortunately the modern outlook is grim. Sure you boast running water and electricity, but at what cost to nature and health? Do you imply that persons without the things you have are less happy then you. I personally do not even use a computer or other electrical devices.

Also, Being blind to negative things in the world does not make them go away. It is through communicating and taking action that we begin the conversion of wrong into right. I appreciate the words above as they remind me to be bright in my day. In the best circumstance you are the arbiter of optimism and pessimism. In a worse circumstance you are wrong. I lived in a one person reality once. It was so happy there like you describe, but my ignorance eventually upset me. I don't want you to get upset too. J unit

A sad way to look at things, but so true to this modern world we live in. I am just glad we have running water, inside bathrooms, and electricity.
