There is only one person who will be there no matter what the world thinks.

A Mother

As a child when scared of the darkness of the hour
Some arms will clasp you protecting like a loving tower
Never releasing until that particular ordeal is over
Who else can do the most effective than that person named mother

How many times those friends you trust have let you down
In such a manner that those spirits obviously hit the ground
But there is someone who comes along and presents a comforting shoulder
This can be found in the company of a special lady called mother

And as you travel through this world full of uncertainty and of course fears
There is someone around who will you through this turmoil gladly steers
As each moment you thought faltering there is some very sound advice
This will be quite evident in the tone of a loving mother’s voice

Those time when your contemporaries into those gangs get sweep
That lady’s strength alone in you those trials willing defeat
As very often she kept education you about the threatening danger
Whose love and care could be one you so unconditionally than a mother?

What an occupation sometime so heart breaking by also too so diverse
Wrapped up into the package is that of being a teacher, a mentor and of course nurse
Performing those apparently so easily not complaining and no bother
What a monumental task that is always done by a mother.

And on that day when you ascend the stage to get that prize
Who else besides you will have those joyful tears in the eyes?
Deep down in your heart there will whisper a prayer for the great initiator
The one who will despite what would always be there, and that is a mother.
