having grown up with David,s music it inspired me to write a short tribute

a tribute

David Bowie has passed away
a sad day for music i have to say
he wore a skirt when he first started
from the norm he had departed
my dad said what is this squit
thought he was gonna throw a fit
a brixton boy he broke the mould
proved to us by the records sold
with Ziggy stardust and the man who fell to earrth
he inspired us all and proved his worth
we,ll miss you david this generation of mine
your memory will not decline
but to us this is not goodbye
i,m sure there,s a starman waiting in the sky

David Bowie
