I just wanted to write a tribute to "Our Mark" after his Heart attack

Just a regular guy

Mark Gordon Brown has been writing for Wikinut since May 2010 and it wasn't very long before his talent both as a writer and intellect were recognized by the hierarchy here at Wikinut, he was offered the position as a Moderator and has served in that capacity ever since.

Now don’t get me wrong Mark isn’t some superman, he’s just a regular guy, married with a son in the military serving his country, Mark who was raised in Michigan now lives in Canada with his lovely wife running a “Hobby Farm” his love for his fellow animals show very much through his writings with such educational pages such as his latest piece “Twin Lambs Look Like Miniature Cattle

We have all got to know him and his farm

This is typical of mark’s pages, I and I am sure many others of you love it when he “Brings” us into his world, he makes it look such fun and his affection for animals shows through, but you can rest assured this life he has chosen is not an easy one, working with animals means very long hours, getting up very early (Animals tend to use time as nature uses it, when its light it’s time to get up) and as you can imagine certain times of the year, that can be very early.

As he points out in his story “October Adventures on the Sheep Hobby Farm” life is hard working and running a farm, a few weeks back all this hard work took its toll on Mark and he was rushed into hospital with a heart attack, luckily they got him in time and after a short while he was allowed home, and I am sure with the advice that he should “TAKE IT EASY”

Mark is a great guy and I have got to know him quite well though our work here at Wikinut, we often swap small talk about our home life's. and who knows, maybe I WILL make that trip up to Canada to have a drink or two with my buddy one day.

GET WELL SOON MATE

Although life on the farm is hard, Mark and his wife do take breaks now and again and as Mark is Mark he invariably shares his adventures with all of us, as he did in his “ Tourist Attraction, the Northern Lights Wolf Center” story and again in “Pets Gone Wild, Red Eared Slider Turtles in Vancouver

I would like to take this opportunity to wish he a very speedy recovery and I am sure we all understand if we don’t see him so often for a little while, but I know he will be back with a vengeance very soon, Get well soon Mark.and remember what the Doctor DOD said Take it easy.

Its fun to write, why don't YOU try it?

Mark has written nearly two hundred articles, so be sure you check them out here.

Great that Mark himself has moderated this page and the award of the star means he is all set to obey Doctor Dod's advice! Take care Mark. I had a shock when I read the headline! siva

Thanks Johnny!

It was the stress of work that did it they say. The farm itself is not too much work, my wife mostly handles that, but I do think the isolation has affected me too (I would have quit the job if there were other options),

I will write some articles on the experience later. The important fact for all is that if you feel like something is wrong do not ignore the symptoms.

Goodness! I,ve just written a page for Wiki just minutes ago, apologizing in essence for what I said about the site and the people. Sorry, Mark, for my transgressions on my pm addressed to you a while back. Get well soon! Many people, including me, love you and depend on you.

Get well soon Mark, stay off the oil and go totally green in diet you will be okay... No red meat.
People don't stress him out either giving him heartache and pain, personally considered him one of the best moderators on Wikinut.

Hey Mark,
TAKE IT EASY AND GET WELL SOON.
Secondly, I like your shining bald pate. It's a perfect symbol of the wisdom you accumulated over the years.
You are one of the pillars of strength here, and we need you in buoyant health.
I wish you speedy recovery and best of health.

As a fellow animal lover, I know you are more concerned right now for your animal's well being than your own. I've been feeding about 20 cottontail rabbits twice a day for over 13 years. I don't even leave my Ranch anymore for any over night trips, because I'd be worried that my wild cottontail crew, that has learned to trust me and count on me, might not find the food they need if I weren't there to personally fill their stomachs with carrots. I sympathize with you, and wish you the world's fastest recovery ever.
