A Voice Never Heard

This is a figment of my imagination, you can interpret it as you want and do let me know what you came to understand in the comment section below. Eagerly waiting to read your comments.

A Vision

Out of the dark shadows
Into the light of the silvery moon
A heavenly body emerged
Her skin pure white
Draped in sheer silk
Emboldened by veins of gold
Crisscrossing forming patterns
Studded with diamonds and rubies
She was beautiful

An aura of magic surrounded her
As I gazed through the bushes
Wondering what was it that I was seeing
As I looked on
I could see her
She was calm
Calm and collected
Stern yet beautiful
A beauty like I had never seen before

All of a sudden
She started to walk towards the lake
For a moment
She stood still and peered into the dark water
I could see her smiling at her reflection
It seemed like time stood still waiting for her to move
Suddenly I heard her voice in short gasps

I moved closer making sure I could not be seen
I saw her crying, tears rolling down her face
They were dripping one by one into the lake
Disappearing becoming one with the water
Never to be seen by anyone
Her voice swallowed by the emptiness around her
Suddenly she left never to be seen again
A voice never heard

Nice poem Vellur. Hope she had stayed to give us guidance for a better future for our planet as we are now rudderless. Obviously, she did not find it worthwhile to stay on and chose to make a quick exit - siva
