An original short poem about death and bereavement by Darren Heart.

System Scan

Running system scan...
Unknown feelings detected!
Emotional overload,
Your system is infected.

Suspect program one,
Life no longer holds meaning.
Why get out of bed,
When eyes just can't stop streaming.

Suspect program two,
The interface is broken.
No one understands,
Result, few words are spoken.

Suspect program three,
All energy depleted.
Fail to face the day,
This error must be treated.

System scan complete.
Grief has steered you for a fall.
No need for alarm,
You are human after all.
