Emotion can feel good and sometime bad, we all in our way feel emotions, in these three poems I try to describe some emotions. and suffering.

The intro

Love is both a wonderful adrenalin rush and a torment of pain, there can be just a fine line between love and hate ,such is the power of this Omnipotent emotion.

As someone once said...
"The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love someone else.
If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, its yours forever. If it dosent, then it was never meant to be"

1. Longing a poem of hope and anticipation

I gaze into the depths of the Autumn night and ponder upon your presents
That last time I saw you, you had a urgency in your look
A gentle crease formed a smile that made your lips glisten in the reflected moonlight
As you bid me farewell I felt an emptiness fall upon me
The smouldering promise in your eyes had teased me with a anticipated expectation

Now I wait, with each hurting moment without you, prompting my aching heart
To beat a little faster, as the moment of your arrival draws ever nearer.
Then you are here, that echoic smile pulls me to your arms and we embrace, I touch
your hair, longing to touch your lips with mine, you draw closer to me, I can feel your rhythmical heart pulsating in accompaniment with mine, as we kiss.

A frisson flows through my veins, to bolster my now intense passion, how can one caress, one gentle kiss, generate such all encompassing powers? She melts into me, in a relinquishing submissive posturer, she is mine.

2. This shows just how helpless we men are when love strikes

Your eyes have an enchantment that is pulling me in to the depths of your mind
They play with my psyche until I know not where I am, lost in the inner sanctum of your soul
Why do you amuse yourself with me so? Am I not a man with a mind of my own? Can I not control my own destiny?
You toy with my heart, a heart I have no control of, lost in turmoil, in a world of despair
Take me now and crush me without faltering for I am not worthy to gaze once more into the pleasure that is your eyes

3. Love can hold a powerful grip on ones emotions

I fight you, my foe, each day, but you will never win
For in the end I will prevail
Like an outstretched fist you grasp my every tissue
Bit by bit you tear each one, rejoicing in my pain
You hold me locked in your bastion of hurt
Tied to the slab of torture
Each turn of the screw drives me into a new degree of anguish

Oh pain why do you hunt me so?
Each day I try to escape from the hold you have over me
But your grip and clasp hold my body like a spider holds its prey
Must I endure your power over me for ever? Will I ever be free?
Or do I go to my grave with you still clinging to my every fibre
Oh pain why do you hunt me so?
I fight tirelessly with the wounds you inflect upon me
Until I am free, for free I will be, I too am resolute with dark hopes
For to give in to your unending torment is to lay with the hand of death

And now its your turn,

Do you write Story's, Poems, Factual articles, why not let Wikinut publish them for you? have you published them already on other sites? no matter Wikinut can republish them and allow you to double your earnings.

You can be as artistic as you like, the magic of seeing YOUR poem or story in print is wonderful, and to makes things better we will pay you for it, why not give it a try?

Yours is a troubled soul, johnnydod... like most other people's!

You perfectly capture some of the pains and paradoxes of these powerful emotions.

Thank You for the great read.

I have read you poems again today. These poems reflect so much of your feelings and I wonder where you are now. The last one is so sad.
