Yesterday I came outside to find a dying snake, a dead frog, a lawn mower and two servants gawking at it. The site of it all was definitely a conversation piece indeed.

A snake, a lawnmower and Duggles

Duggles jumps in and tells me what happened.

He had gone to get the lawn mower inside the garage. When he pushed the lawn mower away, he was greeted with an angry snake eating a frog.

When it saw Duggles, it stopped eating the frog and was ready to strike at Duggles. Duggles quickly pushed the lawn mower back over the snake, quickly plugged it into the wall socket and switched it on.

Within a flash the snake along with its dinner was thrown by the lawn mower blades into the lawn mower basket.

For a while Duggles didn't know what to do. Should he take the basket off and look inside?

For one thing, he decided, he needs more space. So he pushed the lawn mower out of the confines of the garage to outside. There he very carefully lifted the basket off the lawn mower and threw it to one side.

But he needn't have feared. The snake, now fallen out of the basket onto the pavement, though not dead was very much injured, lying beside its frog, the two reptiles complimenting each other. It's not too lively now. The snake is about a meter and a half long, and quite thick with brown scales.

Mmm, well, that was something you don't see everyday.
