What good customer service should be no matter how big or small a company is.

Aiming for good customer service

If I look at this chart, I notice that among the main principles of a company as regards customer service, there´s its reputation. I wouldn´t say that this makes good customer services, because and as many of us know, there´re well known companies with a reputation worldwide, but their customer service is crap. Customers, even if they´ve been long with them, are treated like sheep; take it or leave it.
On this regards, we should take note of Internet and telephone companies wherever they are based, low cost airliners, trendy spas and so on and so forth.
Whenever one complains about one of their faults, one will rarely listen to an honest apology and some sort of compensation. If it´s a manager, one should be ready to listen to a big speech full of excuses, and excuse that will rarely give us a compensation. If it´s a member of the staff, one will have to be contented with "Is it? I´m so sorrry... Call..."
Bear with this lot because they´re mere cleaners, office clerks, receptionuists or technicians. They don´t manage the business or make the rules, they´ll tell us.
However, and whatever the status in a company, every member of the staff is obliged to take time to find out a customer´s expectations, to listen to what a customer has to say, to make sure that they consider customer service in all the aspects of a business.
On whatever the status or post, one is obliged to listen to a customer´s complain and to make them sure that a prompt solution will be offered. Not doing it like this means that these well known companies care a s... for customer. "Not happy? OK, go. If one goes, another will come." This seems to be their customer policy and since there´re several thousand millions of people in the world, worry not... for them.
For these companies, we aren´t customer with expectations, but mere cattle or worse still servants for them.
