All the people

You think you know how to read these people, better said fragile creatures. But nobody does.

All the people

His curved nose reaches out for the stench of paradise,
she holds a pearl white doll,
with smudged hands,
the maid cleans forever rotten floors,
Lou is a river that has no valley to protect it,
an orphan boy only feeds the sick pigeons.

And after all this time we ask,
what is the etymology of your mind?
Are you the ubiquitous giant,
kept in the hermetic confined space of your body?
Are you among the banished and praised?
You write, yet you have a pen fueled with tears and indignation?

They ask in return;
treachery must be some form of betrayal?
What does lifes hypothesis represent?
Do I have my child,
or does the child have me?
Why do night and day both belong,
when we all know they are all in us?
Why does the clock consult me for time?

And all the people say;
its the walls being eaten alive,
from the grotesque to the beautiful,
the head goes first,
the mind goes last,
they cycle does end,
but all of us never do.

So hang up your coats,
put on your eyes,
don't look through society's microscope,
all this time,
we,
are and we're
able to look above tall buildings,
when all we could see was the front
of all the people's palms.
